Shayne Ward actually has a nice voice unlike the atrocities of Alexandra and Diana. If only buzzack would open it's ears.

Considering that your love of Shayne is based on the fact that you want to ride him stupid, it hardly makes you impartial or sane.

In 2008, Vickers auditioned for the fifth series of The X Factor, eventually making it to the live shows after being selected by mentor Cheryl Cole. Judge Simon Cowell likened her to Marmite, saying fans would either love or hate her unusual singing style, stating that he "loved it". In week 5 of the live show stages, Vickers missed the live show without performing following a bout of laryngitis. She had wanted to perform the Mariah Carey song "Always Be My Baby" up until a few hours before the show, but her doctor advised her not to, saying Vickers could do permanent damage to her vocal chords. This was the first time the producers have ever excused any act from performing. In the week 9 semi finals of the competition, Vickers performed Avril Lavigne’s "Girlfriend" as her first song and received excellent comments from all the judges where Cheryl Cole said that "she had got that sparkle back". She followed this with Dido’s "White Flag" but was subsequently voted out of the competition, to the shock and upset of her fellow contestants.

After The X Factor she signed to Sony Music's RCA Records. She began work on her debut album, Songs from the Tainted Cherry Tree, in January 2009, commenting that it would not be rushed and that it would be "Diana style". Since the show she has released 3 singles and an album.

Vickers made her professional acting debut in the title role of a new revived West End production of Jim Cartwright's The Rise and Fall of Little Voice in October 2009 at the Vaudeville Theatre, on The Strand, London. She played Little Voice, who hides a talent as an impersonator of singers such as Shirley Bassey, Edith Piaf and Judy Garland.

Diana Vickers.. I liked Once but My Wicked Heart made me want to violently strangle anyone within distance everytime it came on. NOT GOOD. Still not around to buying her album though, it's meant to be really good.

ALEXANDRA BURKE for number one please. Thank you.

Leona Lewis X Factor Queen & X Factor Legend, the only one who can hold the #1 spot.
My feelings on Diana are well registered on the forum, I basically think she's the antichrist with a very punchable face. She of course had to ruin it by releasing some decent enough music, thankfully normality was restored when she flopped and then unleashed the atrocity of 'My Wicked Heart' on us.

2010 Start Without You feat. Laza Morgan UK: 1 Ireland: 5 Netherlands: 77

2010 The Silence UK: 16 Ireland: 30 Switzerland: 66

Alexandra Burke auditioned for 2nd series of X Factor in 2005 and made it through to the final seven in Louis Walsh's category, but was not chosen to go through to the final four as he felt she was too young for the competition. Her second bid to win came in 2009, where she was selected for the finals by mentor Cheryl. After ten weeks in the competition, she eventually became the winner beating both Eoghan Quigg and JLS in the final after performing a duet with Beyonce and a song by Leonard Cohen, Hallelujah. She was given a recording contract with record label Syco and reportedly signed a £3.5 million US deal with Epic Records.

She released her debut album Overcome in October 2009 and singles Bad Boys, Broken Heels and All Night Long were all released from the album.

In July 2009 she confirmed that she signed a six figure contract with Italian fashion designers Dolce & Gabbana to become the face of a new fashion line.

A new single Start Without You was released earlier this year and was soon followed by the release of Overcome Deluxe and The Silence accompanied by an X Factor performance.

She is due to release a new album in 2011 and has confirmed that she has worked with RedOne for a lot of the album, but hopes to work with David Guetta, Bruno Mars, Stargate and Ne-Yo, among others. Alex is also preparing to launch a new clothing line with fellow X Factor finalists JLS called 2KX clothing.

KANDY RAIN 4 NUMBER ONE!

thats a predictable, but probably right result

I do like Diana, its a real shame she hasnt been THAT successful, looking back, her songs weren't great- I still wish her luck though

and Alexandra is pretty good too, haven't been overly keen on some of her song, but after Leona, definitely the best winner- Leona has undeniably a great voice, and deserves her success- however, her recent era was a bit of a come down on the first, hopefully she will try something different for the next era

and thanks for doing this Sabrina

Leona auditioned for the third series of The X Factor in 2006. She was mentored by Simon Cowell and was announced the winner on 16 December 2006, winning a £1 million recording contract.

Her debut single "A Moment Like This" broke a world record after it was downloaded 50,000 times in thirty minutes and became UK Christmas number-one single, having sold 571,253 copies, outselling the rest of the Top 40's sales combined. The single became the most downloaded song in 2006; it stayed at number one for four weeks and stayed at the top spot in the Irish Singles Chart for six weeks.

In February 2007, Lewis signed a £5 million, five-album contract in the United States with Clive Davis's record label, J Records. Lewis worked with several songwriters and record producers including Dallas Austin, Steve Mac, Stargate and Ne-Yo on her album Spirit, which was released in November 2007 becoming the fastest-selling debut album in the UK and Ireland. It was released in several other nations in 2008 and was very successful in countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Austria, Germany, South Africa and the United States. She became the first British artist to reach number one with a debut album in US. From the album she released "Bleeding Love" and a double A side single "Better In Time/Footprints in the Sand".

A special edition of Spirit was re-released in November 2008 in Europe, including the songs "Forgive Me", "Misses Glass" and a cover of the Snow Patrol song "Run". A last single from Spirit was released in January 2009 called "I Will Be", but only in North America.

In August 2008, she performed "Whole Lotta Love" with guitarist Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin at the 2008 Summer Olympics closing ceremony in Beijing, representing the handover to London as the host of the 2012 Summer Olympics. In September 2008, she joined several female singers to perform a single for the anti-cancer campaign Stand Up to Cancer. The single, titled "Just Stand Up!", was performed live during the one-hour telethon that aired on all major US television networks. Lewis received three nominations for the 51st Grammy Awards in December 2008. "Bleeding Love" was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Spirit was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album. She was nominated for four BRIT Awards, in the categories British Female Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Act, British Album for Spirit, and British Single for "Bleeding Love", but despite being the favourite to win the most awards, she received none. She won two awards at the 2008 MOBO Awards: Best Album for Spirit and Best Video for "Bleeding Love".

Leona's seond album Echo was given a worldwide release in November 2009. She had worked with Ryan Tedder, Justin Timberlake, Max Martin etc on the album. She released two singles from the album, "Happy" and "I Got You". She also recorded the theme song for 2009 Science Fiction Film Avatar, which was nominated for Best Original Song at the 67th Golden Globe Awards. In January 2010, Lewis provided vocals on a cover of "Everybody Hurts", released to help raise money for victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake.
