It's really a shame what's happened to her, i actually do like Night Is Young, i didn't at first but it grew on me a lot, but i'm shocked it or the album couldn't chart at all, and to think Loose was a huge worldwide success and spawned two US #1's, i think she left the scene way too long and people got over her, she should have waited to do the spanish album and also the greatest hits was pointless as well, i think if she had done another english studio album and put it out back in '09 or something she'd probably still be relevant now.

I do agree really, the logical step after Loose was surely to capitalise on it maybe a couple of years later maximum. What she's done is commit total career suicide.

I would agree, the timing on the greatest hits etc was totaly wrong, nelly though is the type of artist that seems to be able to bounce back if she really wants it, her next english album will be the big decider and i think she needs to be very clever in making her next move. The handling of her recent material has indeed been career suicide but hopefully she can turn it around.
