On Friday, October 1, Graceland will show its support for National Breast Cancer Awareness month by illuminating the mansion in pink. It will stay lit up through the end of October.

The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign was launched 25 years ago to promote education surrounding the disease. According to the American Cancer Society, there are about 2.5 million breast cancer survivors living in the United States.

That's brilliant!! I love the way that they light up Graceland to support these great causes :cheer:

I lost my wife (aged 59) in 2007 to this terrible disease. Let's hope they find a cure for cancer in the not too distant future. It certainly devastates a lot of families.

Brian

I'm so sorry to hear that, Brian. It is a truly devastating illness.
