Posted October 3, 201014 yr The idea of this then, is to make your perfect album for each era. I know for a fact that the first two albums are as close to perfect as it gets, but I could have done without the likes of Running Away and Miscommunication respectively. So, for each of the albums/eras, make your perfect tracklist using only the songs already on the album, and the b-sides/bonus tracks from that era. I haven't included the likes of Never Fades Away and Flawed as they were from 2006 and really wouldn't have fit with either MI or Delta eras. This literally only includes tracks written around the same time that were presumably intended for their albums but left off in favour of something else. You are allowed a minimum of 12 tracks per era and maximum of 14, how you order each tracklist is entirely up to you. If you don't know some of the b-sides of bonus tracks listed, feel free to still take part, just by re-ordering the tracklist and weeding out a couple of songs you don't like as much - to make it your complete experience. Here are the song groups. Innocent Eyes era 1. Born to Try 2. Innocent Eyes 3. Not Me, Not I 4. Throw It Away 5. Lost Without You 6. Predictable 7. Butterfly 8. In My Own Time 9. My Big Mistake 10. This Is Not Me 11. Running Away 12. Year Ago Today 13. Longer 14. Will You Fall For Me Hear Me Calling Lost For Words Right There Waiting Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas Happy Christmas (War Is Over) Here I Am (Piano/Cello version) Mistaken Identity era 1. Out Of The Blue 2. The Analyst 3. Mistaken Identity 4. Sanctuary 5. A Little Too Late 6. Be Strong 7. Last Night On Earth 8. Almost Here 9. Miscommunication 10. Electric Storm 11. Extraordinary Day 12. Fragile 13. Disorientated 14. You Are My Rock Nobody Listened Visualise How A Dream Looks Beautiful Madness Hollow No More Silence Be Heard The Riddle If I Forget Delta era 1. Believe Again 2. In This Life 3. Posessionless 4. God Laughs 5. You Will Only Break My Heart 6. The Guardian 7. Bare Hands 8. Woman 9. I Can't Break It To My Heart 10. Brave Face 11. One Day 12. Angels In The Room Right Here In My Heart Unsure Fever Fortune & Love Breathe In, Breathe Out Take Me Home
October 3, 201014 yr Author Mine then; Innocent Eyes era 1. Born to Try 2. Innocent Eyes 3. Not Me, Not I 4. Lost Without You 5. Lost For Words 6. Predictable 7. My Big Mistake 8. Butterfly 9. Throw It Away 10. In My Own Time 11. This Is Not Me 12. A Year Ago Today 13. Here I Am 14. Will You Fall For Me Ok, so here I've taken off Running Away and Longer (which is great but I prefer the two that I've added). Added Lost For Words and Here I Am, both of which I think would have made this album truly perfect for me. I've also tweaked the tracklisting a bit so that Throw It Away isn't so early, as it breaks up the flow a little bit for me so close to the beginning. I didn't obviously include the xmas songs (maybe they'd be good for a xmas bonus edition?), Right There Waiting (as she recorded it when she was 14 and it would have been out of place here) and Hear Me Calling (as I don't think it's quite good enough). Mistaken Identity era 1. Mistaken Identity 2. Electric Storm 3. Out Of The Blue 4. Extraordinary Day 5. The Analyst 6. Silence Be Heard 7. Be Strong 8. Last Night On Earth 9. The Riddle 10. Sanctuary 11. Almost Here 12. Fragile 13. Disorientated 14. Nobody Listened Here I've removed Miscommunication, A Little Too Late and You Are My Rock and added Silence Be Heard, The Riddle and Nobody Listened. I like all of the other b-sides but I don't think they would have been right for this album, Beautiful Madness was more like an IE era song for example. Again, I've shuffled bits around so that Extraordinary Day is earlier on like on the Aus tracklisting, and Mistaken Identity most definitely should have opened this album, not Out Of The Blue. Delta era 1. Believe Again 2. In This Life 3. Posessionless 4. Brave Face 5. You Will Only Break My Heart 6. Take Me Home 7. Bare Hands 8. One Day 9. I Can't Break It To My Heart 10. Fever 11. Breathe In, Breathe Out 12. Right Here In My Heart God Laughs, The Guardian, Woman (what on earth was a Westlife sounding production doing on here ) and Angels In The Room all out, far too bland. I've added Take Me Home which was an insane exclusion, it was one of the top five songs of the era imo, mixing ballad with light dance effortlessly - very much like Katie Melua's current era. Fever, Breathe In, Breathe Out and Right Here In My Heart have also been added. Personally this would have made for a far far better album for me, but still way behind the quality of the first two. Brave Face should have been earlier on too.
October 3, 201014 yr Author No Together We Are One for the Delta era??? :( It wasn't really the same era, it was just standalone. I'm not sure it would have fit really, being an inspirational anthem for the Commonwealth games  I think it would be more suited to her greatest hits, which should just be the best album of ALL TIME.
October 3, 201014 yr I find it really inspirational and uplifting and epic. It does fit into Delta in a way, would make the album that bit more epic too
October 3, 201014 yr Author I find it really inspirational and uplifting and epic. It does fit into Delta in a way, would make the album that bit more epic too It needed something to liven it up amongst the sea of Westlife sounding ballads  Quite a step down in quality from the first two, without Believe Again and In This Life it would have been a very average sounding collection indeed, hopefully album #4 is a resounding return to form :D
