I thought Elesha was far better than Gamu and several other contestants, but because she was given about oh ... two minutes airtime no one gave a $h!t. :( Same said for TreyC, Keri and even Raquel!

I doubt Wagner OR Yuli would go far. Elesha has a strong chance if she's given the right songs, if people actually focus on the talent this year.

Oh and I kinda agree with Annastasia, what Cheryl said was complete bollocks when she puts through the talentless Cher and Katie over her. They both have 'unique' voices, but they'll both really struggle in the final stages. Her description of Cher and Katie doesn't sound too far off either .... going off both of them rapidly.

Oh come on, Anastasia was never going to make it big during the live shows, everyone could see that. We have seen contestants like her several times before, diva-ish black girl with a nice voice, but a lack of personality (I remember Rachel from last year - although Rachel had a big personality) and they always failed to go far in the competitition.

Anastasia is bitching about Cheryl and Cheryl while she always pretended to be a nice person on the show, and then SHE calls Cheryl a two-faced person ? Meh.

 

I wouldn't have chosen Katie, but I wouldn't have chosen Anastasia neither. And I agree Gamu is a lot overrated too, compared to two other girls (I forgot their names).

I don't hate him, I just don't really see much potential in him. His voice is pleasant but I don't think it would pick up the votes.

Urgh. Annastasia is just as vile as the rest of them by saying these things to the papers, and being two faced herself in the process like Bert just mentioned - just a tad hypocritical of her. She was my least favourite of the 8 girls in the first place anyway so I'm glad she wasn't picked.

 

I just hope that Rebecca is the last girl in the competition after all of this as she's the only one in this whole affair with any dignity left :lol: Not to mention that she's got more talent in her little finger than the rest of them put together...and the fact that she seems like a genuinely likeable, down to earth person.

The only acts I'm interested in... are Rebecca and Belle Ami, I find Rebecca quite unique her voice is different from the rest of her group. And the reason I picked Belle Ami, I think the girls have great chemistry together, and I wouldn't be surprised a different category win it this year. The band category is the only category that has never won it. And with Simon behind the groups they stand a good chance imo.

They're not being managed by Louis though. Simon will give them contemporary songs and keep them out of the suits I reckon, particularly in light of the success of JLS and The Wanted.

Concerning Annastacia, what a vile bitter woman.

I don't care how big her voice is she will NEVER put a mark on the current UK music industry. Her voice was just too 1990's to be relevant anymore and she has the personality of a withered cactus. And the comments about Cher copying Cheryl? what a load of $h!t. Cher has stated that Nicki Minaj is her favourite singer and shes been singing rap songs all the way through the competition. Last time I checked, Cheryl doesn't rap. :|

The only people Annastacia would've got picked over would've been Raquel or Keri; so STILL wouldn't have got in. She needs to get over it ASAP.

I think this is really sad and makes my blood boil that this talented your girl and her hard working mother and brothers are to be sent back to Robert Mugabe's Zimbabwe.

They deserve British Citizenship and they speak English and livied here for 8 years, her mother making a great contribution to this country.

on the Annastasia thing, my god sour grapes much? there was absolutely nothing unique about her and no star quality- yeah, she did better than Katie and Cher on the day- but they are far more unique overall than she is!

 

even if they hadnt have got through, she wouldnt have- she was by far one of the weakest of the bunch, and hopefully she'll get the message that shes just not good enough (5th time she's tried overall! :o )
