01 - It does appear random, but it actually got a UK release this week on 7digital and I started listening to it again as a result :lol: .

02 - It was used in Ugly Betty this week hence allowing it to chart, I've been wanting to chart it for months - by far my favourite song of theirs!

06 - It definitely takes a couple of listens to get into. I was expecting a jaunty lead single from her so the gentleness of Weirdo came as a bit of a disappointment to me. I really like it now though¬

32 - It isn't very good compared to Commander :lol: I listened to it a few times on the train journey to and from London on the weekend which explains why it's entered pretty high

52 - It came on in a nightclub in London and was pretty amazing in that environment so it's charted as a result. I don't like Miami 2 Ibiza at all sadly :(

60 - Another song that was used on Ugly Betty this week which is why it appears at number 60. It's not a favourite of mine at all, but I thought the album was pretty good.

2. Your chart rules confuse me! So you chart things if they appear in TV shows? :heehee: In For The Kill is easily my favourite of theirs but I can see them being a one album wonder definitely...Bulletproof and Quicksand are both brilliant too though!

6. Yeah, it's a pleasant change imo, I didn't think she'd get another top ten hit in my chart again but that managed to get to #9. I guess Fade Like A Shadow or Glamour Puss might have been more obvious lead singles but I'm glad she went with this. Managed to get into the UK top 40 too somehow!

32. I wanted to like it but I just can't find any redeeming features. Work and Stole remain her classics for me, oh and When Love Takes Over of course!

52. Ah right, how come you were clubbing in London!?! :o Shame, I think it's great - I really like Tinie's album surprisingly :lol: you might like the collaborations on there with Kelly Rowland and Ellie Goulding - both are very good.

60. I'm not following the new series so far, I might buy it when it comes out on DVD instead. She'll never top Laundry Service I don't think - truly classic album.

Yeah, Infatuated is a pretty cool trasy pop tune, one of the better examples of the genre imo.

 

I'd heard of Bright Light x2 a few years back when he released music as Rod Thomas, Your Love Is A Tease is quite good. Love Part II is a massive improvement though!

 

I'm not a huge fan of OMD tbh, Enola Gay is epic but the rest of their stuff up until now hasn't really captured my attention.

 

Yeah I also heard Oh! Hark! a while back on a RCA sampler CD, but my chart was very competitive back then so it missed out on charting. I found the single this week in a charity shop hence why it's only just charting this week.

2. Fair enough, why not :heehee: I know you often chart online song contest entries too, so I guess there's a loophole for those too!

6. I wouldn't know :o since leaving Asda, the only time I listen to the radio now is the chart on a Sunday!

52. Oh cool! Yeah, he's got more collabs on his album than solo stuff :lol:

60. Ah right, I used to love it so will definitely end up watching it at some point, it's sad that it's got cancelled :( Really :o how odd, what are the other two? :lol: I love all of the singles as well as Ready For The Good Times, The One (which was a single in Europe), Te Dejo Madrid and a few others too...

 

02 - Indeed! The only reason I entered The Storm into BJSC was so I could chart it :kink: .

06 - There were adverts all over Absolute Radio when I was in London, and there were also adverts around the tube, plus I saw it advertised on TV a few times also.

60 - It is sad, I'll really miss Amanda and Mark. The other two albums are Eurythmics Greatest Hits and Paloma Faith's :lol: . I might have to start taking in my own CDs more often. I'll definitely be playing the Eurovision CD if I'm still there next year :kink:

01 - I agree! It's a really fine slice of trasy pop!

02 - Nope :lol: .

23 - I find too many Almighty songs in a row a bit much so I onoy like the odd song. Tracey Cole's version of Speed Of Sound is the best thing they've done imo. Fantasy Island comes close though - would have made an awesome Eurovision entry.
