Posted October 10, 201014 yr x2zALzE2gIw Film by the director of 'Kidulthood'. Watched it last night and it was amazing . It's basically about how a group of girls become strangely involved in a gang's huge gem theft, with each of the girls getting their own story within the film. It starts off with you not knowing much, and being quite confused until it all falls into place and makes sense as it goes along. It has alot of humour, and is just really fun and watchable, it doesn't take itself too seriously either and manages to have a balance of being quite dark and emotional, as well as being rather feel-good and entertaining. The only issues I'd have with it is the fairly bizzare casting of Emma Roberts, who is fine at her part and a decent actress but sticks out like a sore thumb as the only american actress in the film. And like I said it can be confusing in places but it all makes sense in the end, and is a thoroughly watchable, entertaining film. I'd recommend it! Probably one of my favourite movies of the year actually.
