here goes- i dont know if this is the way to address you all- however ,worth a try! i am the one who usually , only visits the library,once a week on mondays,in order to find out about darius's t.v. appearances, concerts etc. i checked yesterday(mon:) & noted there was nothing imminent, so you can imagine my surprise, when i got home, switched on the t. v., & there he was! wish i could know in advance. i know you all try your best to keep me informed,but there's so much that you dont get told about! thanks anaway. however- back to the hour- this was darius at his 'sizzling best'. he looked years younger, & on this occasion, it would'nt really have mattered what he sung, or how he sung it! he came at that screen like a portrait of perfection,& the only way to describe the whole performance was 'sex incorporated'! yes the singing was fine, but most people would, primarily, be mesmerised by the man himself. by the way, wasnt he wonderful on bbc2. if you ever leave was just wonderful. just hearing the deep rich& the beautiful @high shows his voice off to perfection. if any of you get news of appearances, please try to put up on monday early afternoon. i come up to the library about 2pm . looking forward to 'kings on 19th. regards jeanette.

It came as a complete surprise to all of us too, jeanette. I'm not a regular viewer of the Hour so I don't know if Darius was mentioned in the "coming next week" section, last week.

 

Darius didn't post on facebook or tweet about the promotion of Snow Whits yesterday, so maybe those appearances will be announced by the Kings or Ambassador Theatre Group for all artists concerned in that production. we only knew about that because a fan ran into him in Glasgow when he was doing a photoshoot at the theatre and Darius told her.

 

I absolutely loved If I Go Away for the power of emotion in the English section which also came over when Darius soared into quasi operatic vocals for the Spanish.

 

We do try to put anything no matter how trivial on to this site. Sometimes that means that fans are disappointed if something doesn't happen though.

 

I don't bother with the official site at all.

It's all so busy at the moment - sometimes things seem to go out to the media before Darius and his team realise they have been confirmed. At least we all look for things and do our best to get them on here.
