It was Neil Sean on the phone. He talked so fast I couldn't catch all of what he said. I think he gave information about where to see his video interview with Darius but I certainly couldn't pick it up and I was listening hard. He didn't mention the History of the Big Bands at all. I suppose he thought the video would do that job.

 

He did say he kinda likes Darius, he's a really nice bloke.

 

I fear Neil may have picked Darius up wrongly but if this is true I'd be happy.

He said Darius is on a new album of the Matt Monro songbook.

 

I'd love to be able to buy a CD of Friday's show or a studio recording of the songs he sang.

W've had the Neil Sean interview somewhere - I just can't remember where at the moment

I'm not going to even think about it unless confirmation comes from another source.

Neil's rarely been accurate about Darius in the past but I will cut him some slack, because he does seem to be trying to be helpful atm.

Wouldn't that be good if there was a CD? Won't hold my breath though. Sue
