It's safe to say Joe McElderry is actually dropping down as if it has a brick tied to it, he's all the way down to #26 now!

I assume you mean his *song*, rather than him being pushed off the end of a long pier... :P

I doubt the MOBOs really get that many viewers, but heres an update of the performers songs. Lets see if it actually has any impact:

The charts are so stuffed with urban songs already, who could tell the difference...

Oh vidcapper you will never change but very funny.

I wonder if there is any truth to the rumour that Pixie will perform with Jason derulo on X-factor at some point, it will be interesting as neither is very good live.

Just dont understand why an X-factor slot did not shift Joe Top 5 yet Katy who sang out of tune is Top 3.

Does anyone think Alexis Jordan could be looking at #1 on the week she is released? I think maybe top 5, it's a busy week - her label are taking a risk  But she is gonna get mega sales.

Not a chance the song and video are very poor. She has been dubbed the next big thing but makes Jordin Sparks look like Mary J Blige.

What?. Pixie is amazing live

Pixie & Jason Derulo have delivered some really catchy songs, and sound pretty good recorded, but live, they are both quite poor.

I really didnt like Happiness by Alexis Jordan when i first heard it, I was like what is this? But love it now, addicted to it hope it does well! :music:

I've seen live Pixie twice and she's very good. Better than many female singers in the UK.

MOBO awards will have some effect, not huge, but a little.

Gamu may sing with JLS

Seriously   ? That is so strange! I will watch it tho for defo, I love Gamu

Thats what i read, not sure how likely it is, but it does say for sure JLS are singing with a 'mystery guest' and they said it may be gamu as she is definitely attending.

I dont think derulo & pixie will be on x factor, doubt it very much.

Nelly's Just A Drean is surprisingly really good :)

Well to be fair, you do have a tendency to make 6 posts consecutively which could easily be condensed into one...

Grillz was a big flop because it was released in the peak year of the indie era.

Party People and Body On Me both went top 20 and had fairly decent chart runs, but again their chart fortunes were slightly skewed as the main genre in the chart hadn't yet gone through its full transition.

Just A Dream is being released fully into the urban era, and it's been absolutely massive in the USA. I don't see how it could possibly have flopped.

plenty of urban records did well during the noughties brit pop era!!
