I've heard the Taio/Kylie version a number of times on KissFM, here in LA - and I'm sure other stations around the country are spinning it now and then too.

 

I have to wonder - what is the real story behind this collaboration? She's doesn't seem to have done any PR anywhere. I get that she's on tour, but that can't be the excuse. Is she pissed at the handling of it - ie that Travie McCoy was brought in for another version, after her?

 

Love him or hate him, Taio is hot right now. This is an opportunity for Kylie that's mostly going begging. That said, I think it will hang around the lower reaches of the UK top 20 for some weeks to come and end up being her highest digital seller.

I cant see it hanging around for an awful lot longer in the top 20 but i think it will have a very decent run in the top 75.

higher's number 3 this week on the German singles chart up from number 5, it's been in the top 10 since ages, congrats to Taio/Kylie!

In the UK its number 15 in the mid weeks which is great as i think it will hold that position or #16 at lowest so it could potentially stay top 20 again next week, higher will easily top 300,000 uk sales.

Yes around 300k. The other 20kplus will be physical.

 

Higher will surpass 200k digital sales by the end of the week. It seems to be slowing down now though so it may take a while to catch ATL, if at all.

 

Ya i would all the lovers sold in or around 20,000 on phyisical and i think its total sales are 330,000 so downloads would be nearer 310,000. In a way i dont want higher to outsell all the lovers as i think all the lovers its a far far stronger song, on the other im happy to see it selling as it boost her overall sales and weeks on chart.

on another continent Higher (Travie and Kylie version) is currently number 1 on the billboard Dance Club charts, making it the 4th number one for Kylie from this ERA!

#22 in the midweeks, hopefully another 2-3 weeks at least in the top 40 to come,however i do think higher will have a pretty decent run in the lower end of the charts, all the weeks will add up to kylies total weeks on chart so we need a good chart run as better than today and get outta my way had relatively short top 75 runs.

I'm glad its done ok but hope it doesnt sell as much as ATL. I think ATL is a much superior song!! It will certainly be up there among Kylie's best sellers anyway.

I completly agree and i dont think it will outsell all the lovers, as it stands its around 100,000 less sales than all the lovers.

I can't stand this song anymore! :(

I like higher and it has done better than i expected but its nothing special and would be my least fave of her duets.
