It's been updated :)

One more for ya :P

Alexandra Burke - The Silence 48,000 (although this doesnt include any trickle sales since the album was released)

So, back to the original post that started this thread...

... If you take away winners' singles and charity songs, then consistency means you must then take away any of the songs that made a "debut" showing on X- Factor (as the promo effect is the same)...

Top 10 currently are:

Top 10:

1. JLS - Beat Again - 515,000

2. Olly Murs - Please Don't Let Me Go - 318,400 (as of 03/01/2011)

3. JLS - One Shot - 310,000

4. Alexandra Burke - Broken Heels - 295,300 (as of 03/01/2011)

5. Leona Lewis - Better In Time - 290,000

6. Alexandra Burke - All Night Long - 270,100 (as of 03/01/2011)

7. Alexandra Burke - Start Without You - 254,900 (as of 03/01/2011)

8. JLS - The Club Is Alive - 241,800 (as of 03/01/2011)

9. Olly Murs - Thinking Of Me - 237,100 (as of 03/01/2011)

10. Shayne Ward - No Promises - 225,000

I personally don't see why any of the winners' singles or charity songs should be omitted. Ultimately, the first list posted on this thread is the "real" list.

Sales are sales. But you can "spin" them to favour any artist any way you like.

Just updated my post above...

Ommiting in my opinion doesn't work - and is stupid. Just because they've had a higher profile why should Bad Boys, Bleeding Love and Everybody In Love be omitted from the list because they were performed on X Factor.

If we're going down that road, then All Night Long should be omitted because Alex promoted it on Dancing On Ice. The Club is Alive should be omitted because it was performed on Britian's Got Talent, Better In Time should be omitted because it's the Sport Relief single - the way it's going you'll have no list left.

So yes - the list on the front page is the X Factor singles list

We have an update on the top 11!!

It would have been an update on the top 20, as 4Music has showed the top 20 Biggest Selling X Factor Hits from now, but I missed 12-20

The top 11 look like this:

01. Alexandra Burke - Halleujah - 1,220,000

02. Shayne Ward - That's My Goal - 1,100,000

03. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love - 1,020,000

04. Matt Cardle - When We Collide - 980,000

05. Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This - 880,000

06. X Factor Finalists 2008 - Hero - 820,000

07. Joe McElderry - The Climb - 800,000

08. Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys - 730,000

09. Leona Lewis - Run - 710,000

10. JLS - Beat Again - 540,000

11. Leon Jackson - When You Believe - 505,000

Interestingly this was the top 11 sales from the last update:

01. Alexandra Burke - Halleujah - 1,210,000 (as of 20/02/2011)

02. Shayne Ward - That's My Goal - 1,095,000

03. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love - 1,005,000 (as of 20/02/2011)

04. Matt Cardle - When We Collide - 941,600 (as of 20/02/2011)

05. Leona Lewis - A Moment Like This - 875,000

06. X Factor Finalists 2008 - Hero - 810,000

07. Joe McElderry - The Climb - 790,000

08. Alexandra Burke - Bad Boys - 710,000 (as of 20/02/2011)

09. Leona Lewis - Run - 655,000

10. JLS - Beat Again - 529,482 (as of 20/02/2011)

11. Leon Jackson - When You Believe - 500,000

Nice to see Joe McElderry now on 800K, Leona's Run over 700K and Matt is getting closer to that million.

Bleeding Love is fast catching up on That's My Goal, but will take a long time to catch Halleujah as they are virtually selling the same.

Other notable updates are further down the list, with JLS and Cher Lloyd providing new entries.

Future updates are gonna come from Olly Murs - "Heart Skip A Beat", Leona Lewis - "Collide" and One Direction - "What Makes You Beautiful"

I wonder how many of those had been bought by the same people :kink:

I saw the show a few times in the last week or so, and if I remember correctly, the figures for 12-20 were:

18. X Factor Finalists - Heroes - 320,000

19. Alexandra Burke - Broken Heels - 310,000

20. Leona Lewis - Better In Time - 290,000

Thanks for the updates - also Olly Murs debuts at #37 this week and Joe McElderry's album debuts at #25
Jedward album sales are 31,251 for Planet Jedward and 3,275 for Victory (up to last week - the latter is #77 this week, so will've sold a couple more thousand), which places them at #26 and ~#31 respectively. Also, Eoghan Quigg's album was self-titled; '28,000 Friends' was the title of the "promo" single.
Belle Amie's single came out yesterday. Been lingering in the bottom quarter of the Top 200 Songs on iTunes. I don't expect it to be too high up the list, sadly.
