October 31, 201014 yr Author Hi Rich I Like This Week, 2. Le Kid - We Should Go Home Together (3) (CR-18-7-4-6-4-3-2) 3. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (8) (CR-8-3) 4. Shakira feat Dizzee Rascal - Loca (20) (CR-17-12-12-19-OUT-17-20-20) 19/20 dont like that Take That single. They didnt made a good single since Rule The World imo. Have u heard new Ciara single Gimmie Dat? Nice chart :) Thanks Nick! Nope not heard Gimmie Dat yet...shame you don't like The Flood :( Although Rule The World was truly amazing! Rich, here's what I like: 1. Take That - The Flood (1) (CR-1-1-1) 3. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (8) (CR-8-3) 6. Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) (4) (CR-13-4-6) 8. Hurts - Stay (Re-entry) (CR-17-OUT-17) Another Top 10 for Robyn I haven't listened to Taylor's album. I'm interested to see how good it is, considering she fully wrote all the songs. I definitely prefer Cheryl's The Flood over Promise This. I like Stay but I just can't help but think they'd be better off releasing other songs from their album. Thanks West! Yes, I can't remember the last time she missed my top ten with an official single  I guess Who's That Girl was the only one that didn't make it. It's a very good album, there's some filler but a lot of strong material too. I definitely still prefer Promise This to The Flood, but both are great :D Stay was actually always my personal favourite from the album, although I know I'm basically alone with this opinion  Very sorry Rich, but I want to start with a complaint. It was a close one between Taylor and Cheryl - but Taylor's first two albums also peaked at #2 in my chart, and I wouldn't say Speak Now is better than Fearless, seeing as there are 3 or 4 filler songs towards the end that I can't even remember, hence I relegated it to the same peak position! Haunted, Mean, The Story Of Us and Back To December are all pretty great though! Take Over Control is nothing like Silly Boy - it's electro dance, not GaGa style copy pop :heehee: I was never overwhelmed by that song like everyone else was, I think it peaked at #33 in my chart  Hey G! 1. Take That - The Flood (1) (CR-1-1-1) Decent, but not a huge fan 3. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (8) (CR-8-3) 5. Cheryl Cole - Promise This (3) (CR-8-3-2-1-3-7-5) 6. I like Loca and never go off it, but it never particularly grows on me either :( It just doesn't have the 'wow' factor for me that the majority of her singles have. I don't think Dizzee helps, his part just feels redundant and I don't personally feel that it fits that well - maybe I'd prefer a solo single. I certainly don't prefer the dire Spanish version! Better Than Today initially got to #11 for me as an album track so I'm sort of pleased to see it as a single, but also it's obvious that it won't be a hit - Higher is sort of lacking something, I agree, but I do like it.

Listen to it again, it's fantastic :arrr: The bridge/middle 8 especially  7. I think it's really catchy, definitely not forgettable! Although I admit it's one of the most generic songs of the year  15. I definitely prefer the US mix of all of them, the UK mixes just add a bland factor to them :( 19. Can't Make This Over is certainly a bizarre choice. I like it but Coming Home screams smash and Doing Fine is the best of the other tracks. Cheryl's album is great! It was all about #2's for her last year for me - 3 Words, single and album peaked at #2, as did Fight For This Love, but this year she's got her #1 single and album  I'm certainly not ashamed of being a fan either, despite BJ's irrational hate of her. I bought the album today :D

Yeah, the other two, the US mixes are better. The intro to 'Mine' on the UK version is so cringey! 19. I agree! CMTO was my least favourite of all 10 new tracks; 'Coming Home' my favourite, and it'd be the biggest hit too! 'Doing Fine' would be big in clubs too, a reasonable sized hit like 'Turn It Up' if released I think. Well I'm pleased she finally got what she deserves. I thought 3W (the album)'d peaked at #1 for you, must be wrong then. :P Good to see you buying the album though... I preordered it a month ago and it was dispatched on Thursday but my postman is awful and it still hasn't been delivered! And to rub the salt in the wound, I saw it £2 cheaper on Tesco.com :(

Agreed. It feels so empty and lacking, the whole song does. It was the same with Love Story, I hated that the violins were toned down, it's what helped to make the song special! 19. I already downloaded 5 of the 10 'new tracks' when they appeared on an iTunes special edition earlier in the year! So only CMTO, Doing Fine, Coming Home, Catching Snowflakes and obviously Broken Arrow were new to me. I don't think so  *checks* Nope Anna Abreu blocked her with the amazing Just A Pretty Face album  Tough week, I loved both! Oh dear, that does sound awful - you must be ready to throw things knowing how much you love Cheryl :drama: Online is so risky if you're desperate to get something, I just bought it in Asda this morning along with my food shopping

November 2, 201014 yr Hey, my comments: 4. Zowie - Broken Machine (2) (CR-2-2-2-4) Another good entry from Rontvia! and it makes sense now that you sent this one. Why on earth I guessed that you'd sent Ingrid I'll never know  6. Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) (4) (CR-13-4-6) Bizarre performance on the X Factor, but the song sounded far stronger live. Will definitely fly up my chart next week 17. Hurts - Stay (Re-entry) (CR-17-OUT-17) Love this song. Doubt it'll be a huge hit for them, but glad they chose it as a single. Illuminated should be the fourth single if they release another from the album *I Blame Coco - In Spirit Golden I have ordered the album, hope it's as good as the singles make it out to be *Kylie Minogue - Better Than Today Decent tune, good choice for the third single Nadine Coyle - Insatiable She should have released it physically, not surprised that it's flopping badly. It's a shame, but at least it might speed up the GA reunion :kink: *Pet Shop Boys - Together Not their best song imo, but it's OK. The Ultimate album is awful though, all my top 3 singles (I Don't Know What You Want, Flamboyant and Integral) have been missed off :( I'm a little disappointed by the Cheryl Cole album, mainly because of Dizzee Rascal :puke:  . I'll give it another listen, but apart from about 3 or 4 songs it wasn't great. I definitely preferred 3 Words on first listen

I definitely preferred 3 Words on first listen Thanks Ghosty! 4. Thanks, glad you liked it :D Yeah, nice song but I never would have sent Ingrid, or any piano type singer/songwriter to BJSC unless the song was remarkable for the genre! 6. I agree  It's definitely a grower, I used to find it so generic and uninteresting and now I listen to it all the time! 17. I agree, they're definitely not going to be a singles act, and I doubt it will do that much for the album in xmas period. Hopefully they'll benefit from the January sales boom that always helps some of the hyped acts from the previous year to reach new peaks and popularity! I'll probably buy I Blame Coco's album but I don't like this single as much as the previous two if I'm honest. Nadine did release physically, except it's only available in Tesco  I think she's drifted so far apart from GA, I can't see a reunion any time soon :( I keep seeing pictures of the other 4 still hanging out together but Nadine doesn't seem to talk to them anymore...Yeah, I agree about PSB - I like it but it's nothing new or amazing. I didn't buy the Ultimate album, the tracklist looked crap and I think I own all of the songs on Pop Art and their other studio albums anyway  Cheryl's album is a massive grower. I was completely underwhelmed on first listen but I love every song apart from Amnesia now! The Dizzee song is the second weakest on there imo but I still like it.
November 2, 201014 yr Thanks Luke! Agreed about What's My Name  and I really like Cheryl's album! Thanks Ghosty! 4. Amy Macdonald scored a number one the January following the release of her debut didn't she? Fingers crossed for Marina and Hurts then! Did Ellie Goulding get a number one album this year? I can't remeber... :o I shall have to pop into Tesco tomorrow to see if our store is stocking it. If Nadine completely flops then I think she'll be running back to the girls straight away :heehee: . Yeah same, I'm not bothering with Ultimate - complete waste of money. 2010 is a disappointing year for Greatest Hits compilations. I think it was Live Tonight and Raindrops that stood out most for me from the album tracks. Dizzee completely ruined the whole thing for me though - absolutely can't stand him :(

Yeah she did, which was well deserved! I can't see Marina doing it as she's sort of slipped off the radar altogether, but it wouldn't surprise me if Hurts did. Ellie did get a #1 album, although it dropped to 18 or something the following week  Well yeah, having exclusivity with one place is never a great idea, plus there's no hype around the song and honestly, despite her being the best singer in the group, she's never come across as the most likeable member. Maybe the public have the same problem with her as they do with Katie Waissel, she seems fame hungry and fake at times? But indeed, I'd love to see GA back together, definitely one of my favourite bands of all time  I know what you mean, I've only bought the Robbie one which was comprehensive and decent, but I haven't bothered with any others. My favourites are The Flood, Yeah Yeah, Hummingbird, Raindrops and Happy Tears so far I think! What do you think of the new Shakira single which Dizzee features on?

Yeah, Hurts could make it to the top provided they get decent promo and the album is stocked everywhere for £4.99. I definitely see what you mean regarding Nadine's personality - she certainly seems the most plastic member, plus she comes across as being very distant and individual, for example when she refused to take part in "Ghosthunting With... Girls Aloud" on ITV2  . I didn't buy the Robbie one either as I've not really liked his singles since the last Greatest Hits album he released. I have not heard the new Shakira song :o I'm hoping it's good though. Ive ordered the album, which I might end up regretting, but I really liked the last album so hopefully this one will be good too.

I'd love to see that happen, it really is a high quality album  Agreed, although I didn't realise she'd refused to take part in that! She's definitely my favourite singer, by far, but GA were also all about personality and it's genuinely believable that the other 4 are all best friends, and she's just a spare part who does the lead vocals  I still remember all the outrage surrounding her lying in Irish Popstars in 2001 when she told the producers the wrong age to get into that band Six! I never bought Robbie's other greatest hits so this is definitely a worthwhile purchase for me, althogh admittedly, the second disc with the older material on is far superior! Well it's not my favourite single of hers ever and I do feel like Dizzee's part is completely unwelcome - and this is from someone who usually quite likes him. So it might be even more offputting for you  The album's decent to me at least but it's not quite as poppy as her usual albums.
November 3, 201014 yr Ha! Your BJUSC entry wasn't really worth of number one? :kink: 5. Cheryl Cole - Promise This (3) (CR-8-3-2-1-3-7-5) :puke: I honestly thought it'd be a ballad, given the pics i saw in people's sigs and everything (ballet-themed!). MEH TO THE MAX. 6. Rihanna - Only Girl (In The World) (4) (CR-13-4-6) 8. Katy Perry - Firework (5) (CR-13-10-13-OUT-5-8) 9. Robyn - Indestructible (11) (CR-18-11-9) 20. Shakira feat Dizzee Rascal - Loca (20) (CR-17-12-12-19-OUT-17-20-20) Not much  Edited November 3, 201014 yr by Ljósið

I think Sarah is my favourite in terms of vocals, but Nicola is my favourite overall., that was hilarious on Irish Popstars - all the fuss over finding the passport  It does show how desperate she comes across though. What's your favourite Robbie single? No Regrets is mine  Oh dear, doesn't bode well at all then.

Get out, Cheryl's a legend. And it's the biggest #1 of the year in the UK in terms of opening sales :w00t: I think Sarah is my favourite in terms of vocals, but Nicola is my favourite overall., that was hilarious on Irish Popstars - all the fuss over finding the passport  It does show how desperate she comes across though. What's your favourite Robbie single? No Regrets is mine  Oh dear, doesn't bode well at all then. In terms of vocals I'd rate them - Nadine>Nicola>>>Sarah/Cheryl>>>>Kimberley ^_^ Oh I agree, it was legendary  I couldn't believe it when she popped up again in Popstars: The Rivals! But because I remembered that she had a great voice, she became my instant favourite. Well, this is a shocker - We agree on something :o No Regrets is easily my favourite Robbie single too!
November 3, 201014 yr Thanks Martin! I can't stand Crystal Castles usually so I'm not exactly hurrying to listen to their new song. And your verdict now.... :D or is the jury still out
November 3, 201014 yr Author And your verdict now.... :D or is the jury still out  Really great song :cheer: Robert Smith's vocals are 100 times better than that dire woman who usually sings in the band. Their last single was completely unlistenable for me :puke:
