The Saturdays Launch 2010 Poppy Appeal

 

We are pleased to announce that The Saturdays have been chosen as the face of the 2010 Poppy Appeal!

 

As part of their support, the girls are involved in '2-minute Silence', a video and single remembering all of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in fighting for their country.

 

Now they want YOUR help to get the 'track' to number 1 in the charts for Remembrance Sunday. The 'track' will be available for download from the 7th November and the money raised will help The Royal British Legion to support serving and ex-serving troops and their families.

To tell you more out about their proud involvement with the appeal, it's over to the Sats! Filmed at Colchester Garrison, this week's flip features the girls performing an intimate concert for the friends and families of troops serving in Afghanistan.

I was wondering what they were talking about on Lorraine about the 'single'. But I'm still a bit confused, the single is a 2 minute silence?
