I agree with what you both say perhaps the fact that he bid 6000 made them feel they had to put him down. He was called popstar to opera star winner before now its suddenly turned back. and the Daily record are no better in this respect as they havent mentioned he had just finished a successful tour which the proceeds went to help for heroes.

And the Daily Mail have now cut the figure bid down to £5000. It also reports that Simon Cowell gave

a further £10000 to bolster D's bid.

Frankly, I don't think Darius cares what the media write or whether they write anything. He sails through anyway and goes about his job and his charity work with his usual passion.

We're the ones who get upset that when they feel they've got to mention him, they do it such bad grace.

And you're right - I do get upset that he is so often put down when he has done nothing to warrant it and a lot more than most which should get him appreciation.

I agree - it still upsets me more than I thought it ever would,

ooh, a tweet saying "Darius... has moved in above us" in London from what I see on the site, but I would have thought D would be staying in Glasow for a while? Darius is like the Scarlet Pimpernel

I think this is one of the reasons I admire him so much. His real life character is very much like that one of the mountie portrayed in the tv show Due South. It always made me think he was unstoppable too, but I can remember the look he had on his face when GWTW was closing :( I try not to let the pathetic digs in the press annoy me, but I have to admit, they still do a little

Bolt hole in London could be for anything, but what about some sort of stint in a WE show? :naughty: He'd need a base then and renting would cost less than a long hotel stay. Didn't he put back an interview for some audition a while back? Just speculating of course :)

We're assuming it is a flat.

It may be commercial property, as the poster says "us", I assume he/she is referring to their PR/events company.

Their blurb talks about being fresh and modern but they're not that up-to date, with their finger on the entertainment scene's pulse if they don't yet know that Darius is Darius Campbell.

I hope Darius is not going to interrupt what he's doing and delay the tour and album for something in the West End. It would have to be something very challenging for him or something he definitely couldn't refuse, for me to understand his thinking.

I'd rather he needed the base in order to keep ridiculous hours while recording like he did with Dive In.

BTW I think Darius would make a very fine Scarlet Pimpernel.

I hate reading negative press about Darius because he just doesn't deserve it. I suppose we should be used to it by now. :( Sue
Well, we've already had a tweet to say he's been in a recording studio connected with his management company. We also know that he's been all over the UK since he's been back. It makes sense to have a couple of bases.
typical we don't get to hear about this.
 wow, rhere are some wonderful ones of darius there..grr shame I cant copy them thugh! nice to see Nova there too, must have been promoting the show at the same time
I wonder why they find it so hard to let us know about these things before they happen, in fact if some of you weren't such good 'detectives,' we'd be in the dark about most things. Sue
Do we mean by "they" his management because I just had a look at their site and Darius's name seems to be further down the pecking order again and some of the others further up I have never heard of.
