Paul, I hope the report doesn't revolve around the hours I spent at the airport rather than the show.

Aria is in America the now so he wouldn't have been him. Wagner & Katie were strand in Glasgow as they came up & done Campus in Glasgow so it might just have been him seeing them off as he is still in Glasgow as panto is still going ahead x

ITV 2 tonite showed the best of Harry Hills biurps no.l3 and Darius in popstar to operstar was the first shown. It was funny. I think it is out on dvd.

I would have thought Darius would have got more - but I would love that kind of pay cheque.

It's not too bad considering it's net pay. JB is being overpaid IMO, I hope the Krankies are getting a reasonable amount. I'd much sooner see them than JB <_<

The Clyde Auditorium is a much larger venue than the Kings, B.P.

 

The venues have to make a profit and you can't keep hiking up prices if you want to fill it with families and community groups and schools.

 

They've got lots of other people to pay from the income too.

 

The Kings doesn't do much in the way of merchandise but the SECC and the Clyde auditorium always have loads. e.g.there's a 3 D genie in Aladdin so presumably there will be free cardboard 3D glasses and other more trendy, Aladdin ones on sale plus the usual neon light gadgets encouraged for concerts in those venues.

 

I don't think money has ever been a concern for Darius when he took decisions about his career. The new "experience" seems more of a draw.

..... and so he should. Other workers have to work extra time in lieu or take it as unpaid leave.

Makes me wonder if he missed more than one. Wasn't it Tuesday that he was spotted at the airport and we wondered how he was going to get back for 7pm.

There were no theatre performances scheduled on Tuesday as it was a day off for everyone.

 

 

Oh dear, it wont go down well with the people who went specially to see him will it. I havent seen a review yet but it didnt take the local media long to pick up on that side of things did it.

The local media were already on the warpath because the SECC went ahead with Frankie Boyle's show there this week, when just about every road in and out of Glasgow was gridlocked. Because the show went ahead, there were no refunds.

 

If they want to make trouble for Darius he has provided them with plenty of ammunition to pursue the point and turn the refund situation into a people's campaign.

It would have been better if they hadn't already announced that some of the cast were staying in hotels nearby to guarantee they could get to work.
