Personally, I'm very glad to hear that, although I have to say I read around a few sites and the reaction to Darius as a possible housemate was pretty positive, with quite a few people tipping him to win. They'll be disappointed when he doesn't appear on the night.

Surely the inclusion of Aleksandr as a potential housemate flagged this up as a hoax straightaway.

i Knew it wasnt goin to happen wen i saw the video of D and Natasha at coldplay in L.A. If he was goin to do it he'd b over here by now ready to go in.

I had already dismissed Eric Pickles because he's a serving government minister. Orville the Duck once won something like CBB, so Alexander the Meerkat could at a stretch of the imagination have gone in in some form or other .

 

Darius? I just couldn't see it. He's been offered these things for the last decade and turned them down flat. To accept now would have been complete madness. Unfortunately, D is his own man, so I couldn't rule out the 0.1%.

 

He's just moved into his new home with his wife and stepsons, is performing regularly in LA and last week for the first time, I saw a tweet confirming that Darius had been in an LA recording studio. He seems to be working with some like minded creative people who believe in original music and possibly more importantly, seem to have passion and a real energy about them. I'm happy with the way things seem to be going for him over there. I just wish he'd be more communicative on his social networking sites.

 

If all people see is pics of him in a handful of magazines at various events with Natasha a couple of times a year, then that's what they think he's doing - swanning around, wasting his talent- and fans get frustrated.

 

 

 

He's been writing and recording this album for quite a while (as opposed to other albums no longer what he wants) There have been reports of the people he's writing with going to him as well as him coming to meet with them. WHEN he's happy with what he has, then the album will be released. At least we have heard 4 of the tracks we know are completed. It could be worse.

I suppose when they say alexander the meerkat they mean the person who does his voice. I agree though wasnt D offered cbb once b4 and he sed he wudnt do that. Only time will tell if reports r true. Not long 2 weeks.

Even committed fans have felt that way about D at more than one point in the past, with several missed opportunities, but as has been said, he is his own man. I just wish he could acheive the great potential he has in both music and acting, as I feel he could be a huge filmstar if he put his mind to it. He's got everything required to be a popular and great actor, as well as his musical theatre capabilities. More than anything though, I'd just like to see him singing live, and soon!!!
