That'd be good. I hope it is and not just his step sons birthday. The birthday is important but Darius needs to get himself known so not working the day after would not be good

its Tristan's bday on the 12th of October, so day before Darius was due to play at the gig

Wasnt D the 1 who created it in the first place? Doesnt seem right that sum1 else is doin it now.

Brian would have liked Darius to continue but he lives too far away now. Andy is very good though. It's just a shame we don't have Darius to see.

Darius Campbell joins Chicago at Garrick

Darius Campbell has been cast to star as Billy Flynn opposit America Ferrera when Chicago reopens in the West End at the Garrick Theatre next month.

 

Campbell, who was formerly known as Darius Danesh, has played the role before in 2006, when the show was at the Cambridge Theatre.

 

Opening at the Garrick on November 7 alongside Ferrera and Campbell will be Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, James Doherty as Amos Hart, Jasna Ivir as Mama Morton and R. Whitehead as Mary Sunshine.

 

Chicago originally opened at the Adelphi Theatre on November 18, 1997, later transferring from the Adelphi to the Cambridge in April 2006.

 

It is produced in London by Barry and Fran Weissler.

Recording partly in London and partly in LA last I heard. Good to see him taking a part in a musical again - hopefully, while he gets the album finished

Avril has just phoned. It seems that Darius will be in Chicago from the 7th Nov 'til the 22nd December. We will be notified of any changes or if he extends
