He apologised almost immediately when Andrea said something like "You can't say that."

He only went back to LA at the weekend. It does seem very soon for him to return here, especially when he's doing Vibralto on the 13th. Still, I'd much rather someone report that he may than us all miss it.

cravengossip craven gossip

Darius Campbell was once Danesh, but who cares? He's still the best! On Loose Women is where he'll be, crave him there and shout YIPPEE

whats this about,posted yesterday

Maybe he'll b on 2 talk about Natasha's new show the secret circle which starts next week on living. Wudnt Natasha come over 2 promote it though seen as its her show?

Anybody see it today? I don't want to have to watch it on the i-player, if he wasn't on.

I'm beginning to think those tweeters heard that "the guy off X Factor" was on Loose Women and automatically thought of Darius, although he has never appeared on X Factor.

See if you had seen Shane ward from a distance you may have said it was Darius lol

If anyone can remember the photo of Darius and Natasha back last June when they got back together that's the look Shane Ward has the now lol

Nice. It still does it for me - gives negative thoughts a good kicking. Followed up by Dive In, it's better than counselling.

Joy for Darius Campbell as computer whiz saves six lost songs

POPSTAR to Operastar singer Darius Campbell is breathing a huge sigh of relief after a computer whiz saved six lost songs from his third album.

Darius, 31, had given up hope of recovering the tracks from a badly damaged external hard drive.

But, during a visit to Glasgow to see his parents, he popped into a computer repair shop on the off chance they could do something.

Amazingly, Andy Watson, of Databusters, succeeded where experts on both sides of the Atlantic had failed.

He was able to retrieve Darius's precious music in a few days.

Darius had been working on the songs for six months in Los Angeles when his computer crashed, leaving him with a copy on the hard drive.

Confident he could still use the material, he took the hard drive with him on his latest trip to London.

But disaster struck. Darius said: "One of my bags was badly handled and the hard drive was damaged.

"I was gutted. It was the only copy I had left and I thought that was it."

A desperate Darius contacted Apple in the US and electronic hotshots in London. But he was told his music was lost for ever.

He said: "The technical experts at Apple said nothing could be done and in London no one could help."

But, while visiting his mum and dad in Bearsden, he noticed a shop in Glasgow's Ingram Street.

Darius said: "I saw this place called Databusters and walked in.

"Andy, who looks more like a model than a computer whiz, said to leave it with him.

"I couldn't believe it when he emailed me my demos in few days.

"Andy used to work with IBM and really knows his stuff. He's a young, talented guy and world-class. I thought it was funny I'd looked around the world for help and typically found the solution in my own back yard."

Andy said: "I love solving problems so when Darius came to us for help, I really tried my best.

"I had some parts available and spent two to three days rebuilding the hard drive six times.

"I struggled for a bit because there was so much damage. But I eventually managed to salvage it.

"I have spent a lot of time learning from Russians who understand the technology. The Apple store often send me equipment they can't fix.

"It really is a specialist field and you have to persevere with it."

Darius, who married Species star Natasha Henstridge earlier this year, says his third album will be a mix of Michael Buble and Amy Winehouse-influenced Motown tracks.

He said: "It is totally different from what I have done before. It's a modern approach on crooning standards."

He'll start recording in November.
