Who? Wagner or Darius?

Either. It's not something I'd like to happen. Not that that makes the slightest difference

Lucky Wagner. He's about to meet Darius, the one guy who knows what it's like to get buffeted around in a reality TV whirlwind, become a sensation, get chewed up and spat out into a media storm of nastiness with no support whatsoever and get through all that with dignity and stronger than ever.

Darius has talent - if Wagner has, I must have managed to miss it.

I think this year's X Factor has been an exceptionally artificial platform with endless for/against possibly planted, media stories, so I wouldn't want to judge anyone,even Wagner, on that basis.

Katie Waissel and Wagner are apparently stuck in Glasgow. They were performing at the Campus bar last night.

 

I've just seen yet another TV ad with John Barrowman for Aladdin at the Armadillo.

I liked it when Darius said his panto was the biggest seller - but then I have to get pleasure from what I can.

I've got a ticket for the 1pm show on the 15th -stalls R1. Not the best seat....away at the right hand side, facing the stage. I'm going with a group from the lunch club.

 

Other than that, I'm looking at fitting in a show or 2 during the last week, if I can get a ticket, even if it means the dreaded gallery or the upper circle again.

That sounds good. If this time fails, I wont try again.

Somebody's just tweeted that Darius is at Glasgow Airport with Katie Waissel and Wagner waiting for a flight to London.

 

I didn't know Concorde was flying that route. He's got a show to do at 7pm in Glasgow.

I hope he gets back for it

Had a sudden panic thinking you'd missed the show Meg as you'd posted here, then realised you're going tomorrow :rolleyes: If D can make London and back in a day, then you can make the reverse journey I'm keeping everything crossed for you :)

Maybe he met them in Glasgow last night and he's just seeing them off.

 

There would have to be something very urgent for Darius to take the risk, especially as Glasgow Airport has shut down without warning for various lengths of time over the past few days.

 

Although it could well be mistaken identity again i.e. there's a tall, dark guy with Katie and Wagner.

I'm still going with Paul's post - if I get stuck at the airport, I'll blame him (not really, Paul) It'll be worth the try even if I don't make it to the theatre - as long as I get home in time.

No snow here but very cold. All anyone can do is try. I'd not try driving there but I'll gamble on the plane - how does it go? You never know until you try.

Anyone remember this?
