When the song started I thought it was nearly as bad as Ne-Yo but by the end I liked it :lol: Strange song.

 

yeah when it started i was thinking 'whoever entered this has a really bad taste in music' then after the intro it was actually alright then i was thinking, WTF is going on in this song.

I still have a shortlist of 23 songs! :(

Have to admit 'Serial Killer' is probably the biggest grower I've listened to. The distorted female speaking vocals at the start were initially a major put off but once you get past that, the song itself becomes quite decent - especially the chorus. Also agree about 'Pigeons' too. ^_^

 

I have a definite top 7 with other tracks battling for positions 8-12.

Flyleaf - I'm So Sick is really a horrible song imo :/

 

Find it a biiiiit difficult to point out 12 songs I really like. Lots of wierd, bad songs and possible growers than the last two UP's..

I'm not THAT impressed by Pigeon. It's ok.

Upon listening to it again, Neo is way better than first impressions while I am getting very bored with Pigeons.

 

The one that's growing for me is The Unthanks even though I did know them before the competition started.

 

Myriad Harbours is an absolutely brilliant track and I love the video as well.

 

Much prefer Black Rainbow from St Vincent, it's a much better track. Those awful synth(?) inserts really spoil Actor Out of Work for me.

I know that the previous two UP's on Buzzjack ended up with a female vocal track winning. However, my fave entry this time is by a female vocalist - I just adore the track. ^_^ So if it was another victory for female vocals, I'd like this song (or even my current second fave which is also female vocal led) to win. That said, my current 2nd and 3rd faves keep changing back and forth as I do like them pretty much equally. :(

I was thinking that too. Is there 7 or 8 female vocal tracks together? It's all a bit much.

I sort of agree..There should be a bit more variety considering we have 31 tracks this time.

I imagine I may have probably delay the results for this as I've only recieved votes from 5 of the 31 entrants so far, and I know I'm not going to have to time to do 26 for Wednesday evening.

I'm gonna send my votes tonight. I gave the tracks another listen yesterday afternoon and typically my order changed again (not much, just tracks between 8-12 switched places - my top 7 are still by far my fave tracks).
