Beady Eye - 'The Beat Goes On'

 

Personally I think this isn't one of the best songs from the album. Liam sounds too much like John Lennon on this for me and the song itself is way too ploddy. Shame they chose this as a single.

I think it's a good song (after the first listen). ^_^

Great song. In the beginning I was just waiting for him to sing 'hurry boy, it's waiting there for you'..

new beady eye album "BE" is excellent.

david sitek did a great job here, especially in the first 2 singles "Flick of the Finger" and "second bite of the apple"

This will be another flop. The BE albums and the selection of singles so far are great, the public just dont seem to be connecting with Beady Eye at all and i cant understand it, my only theory is that nearly all the Oasis fans are on Noel Gallaghers side when it comes to the split as Noel Gallagher has managed huge success, although Beady Eyes singles are far less radio friendly than Noel Gallaghers releases.

"BE" is an excellent album with many great/good songs.

("Start Anew", "Iz rite", "Soul Love" and "Im Just Saying" could also be great singles)

On the other hand we live hard times for almost every indie/alternative band these days
