Number 1 again this week in the midweeks and hopefully it will be a great sales week for them. Im surprised Michael Jackson album isnt more of a threat by even being #2 but with it being #3 and some of that would be front loaded it looks like take that and rihanna will occupy the top 2. Id love progress to sell 400,000 plus this week but not sure if it will happen.

6th week at number 1 in the UK this week and sales of 430,000+ which is brilliant, bringing total uk sales to 1,871, 526.

I don't know how accurate Media Traffic is ... but according to its data ... Progress is number 12 on the world chart ... on ww sales of 2.2 million. I know I'm probably expecting a lot ... but that means they've only sold around 350K outside the UK. That's less sales outside the UK since release, than sales in the UK alone last week.

It looks like Beautiful World could remain their best selling (ww) album.

To me that doesnt add up but on saying that i dont know what sales are usually like in germany austria etc, i have heard progress has sold over 100,000 here in Ireland, so going by media traffic that would mean progress has sold 200,000 through out europe and beyond even though it has had a few number 1 placings, doesnt sound right to me at all.

There was a bit of a hiccup in the OCC figures. Apparently the 430K figure was estimated and it was nearer 350K. Still pretty impressive ... but the 2M before end of 2010 is definitely a non-possible now.

apparantly it had no effect on acts high in the charts and no effect on the number 1 single or album ,so the 430k sales for last week seems correct. there is mixed stories going around about the mistake so its hard to know what is true.

There is no change in its number 1 position but the sales figure of 430K was incorrect. It did sell 350K last week ... but it was still enough to keep it at number 1. Rihanna's sales were significantly lower than stated too (but still good).

I just that the new sales are confirmed now, 350,000 is still great but disapointing in comparison to 430,000+. this means progress is about 180,000 ahead of what the circus was at the same stage.

The changes also made quite a difference to rihanna, olly murs and michael buble, and im slightly disapointed Bon ovi sold 20,000 less than initially reported

Take That scored the biggest-selling album of 2010 in the UK, beating Michael Buble into second place, the Official Charts Company has revealed.

The reformed pop band's first album with Robbie Williams for 15 years, Progress, sold 1.84 million copies.

Buble's Crazy Love sold 1.23 million, while Lady GaGa's The Fame was third with 1.05 million sales.

Meanwhile, Eminem and Rihanna had the year's best-selling single with their duet Love The Way You Lie.

That song sold 854,000 copies, narrowly beating X Factor winner Matt Cardle's debut single When We Collide, with sales of 815,000.

Bruno Mars was in third place with Just The Way You Are (Amazing), which sold 766,000 copies.

In this week's charts, Cardle stayed top of the singles rundown while Take That were pushed into second place on the album chart by Rihanna's Loud.

#3 in the UK this week down 1 place, rihanna is number 1 with sales of just 50,000 so lets hope take that have managed 40,000+.

Disapointing sales all round this week in the album chart, take that managed 28,831 this week with progress bringing total sales to 1,869,855, however the circus on week 9 was number 19 with sales of around 10,000 on total sales of 1,556,000.

Even worse this week. The album has dropped quite hugely in the mids.
