What I've done is I've taken every song in my top 40, and pit them against one and other, the victor getting a point, the loser nilch, if equal scores occur, ranked them in the order I see fit, I find this easier than doing it off the top of my head, and in a weird way less biased. Katy Perry's Firework manages to finally reach the plummet on its fourth week scoring her second number one of the year after her Timbaland collaberation "If We Ever Meet Again", pushing down Rihanna and holding off Take That's new entry The Flood. With Katy B & Peter Andre leaving the chart, the position of worst top forty song was relatively open, i decided to give it to Heart Vacancy, a rare pop music inclusion at 40, beacause of it being very bland with poor vocals, which somehow made it on to the song!
