I must be the only one who didn't know what to make of 'Goth Star' - I was strangly fascinated by the song yet the cut up fragmented Fleetwood Mac speeded up vocals ruined the song for me. :(

Wolf Gang extend their lead slightly as they and The Hundred in the Hands pull away from the rest of the pack. A 12 for Cicada puts it back to within touching distance of the top 10, Q Lazarus moves into the top half and Aura Dione finally hits double figures - yay!

Finally, I'm revealed :wub: Thanks to everyone who has given Frida points, it seems to be Marmite though. I do feel a bit of a fraud for voting for Wolf Gang so high, but I really made some great discoveres (Q Lazarus :wub:) and I have to get the Bag Raiders album (you know it's Dan Black on that track?)

Fortunately for Tyron, his chances of victory haven't been altered that much as Wolf Gang only recieve one point. Decent points for Pictureplane and The New Pornographers mean they catch up with him though. Bag Raiders are into the top half and 20 points for Nicole see her climb 6 places and put Foals in the bottom 5. Only 17 songs can now technically win, realistically though it's much less.

And yet Tyron gives me nothing. NuBJSC my arse :P

Kieran was the next to vote, a first time participant who sent one of his favourite singles of the year. Not doing well though, perhaps it's a bit uninspired (although IMO it's the weakest song on the album)

The New Pornographers move up to second, taking advantage of only 4 points given to the rest of the top 5. It can't be a second victory in a row for Mikey, can it?! The Good Natured are back in the top 10, Mew are the 13th to reach 100, 15 for Birds of Tokyo put the Unthanks into the bottom 5 and Kierans own song down a place too. Aura reaches 20 points, can it maybe not finish last?!

Miami was easily the best of all the songs imo but i voted it a few places down due to it being a band everyone knows, definatly not best on the album though. could have been lower if we had the same quality we had the last two UP's.

Being the kind soul that I am, Casey's votes were allowed, he still has a small chance of winning but he could easily end those chances with his votes.
