I suppose but people should be voting for their fave tracks, not tactical voting to purposely get a particular track near the top.

Everyone voted so it's ok. If they hadn't, then I wouldn't allow them to anyway.

I didn't realise Maximum Balloon was a TV on the Radio side project, good band, I liked the track I think it just missed points from me.

I only really got the chance to listen through the tracks once and then again in clips to remind me when voting, which is a shame really as in the last two I managed to listen to all the tracks in full at least twice.

as for going on or not, im not bothered im happy to catch up tomorrow.

Maximum Balloon is the solo project of Dave Sitek (TVotR, Yeah Yeah Yeahs long time producer). His album features David Byrne, Karen O, TVotR members, Little Dragon and many more.

Do you think this song could be more succesful?

Thanks everyone who voted for my entry.

West was the 21st voter. After a disappointing 25th in UPII, hed have been hoping for better this time out but it's not to be so far.

More points for Pigeons! But a 15 for Wolf Gang puts it back into second place. Seekae and Pictureplane now within touching distance of 100 as the top 3 start to pull away slightly. A much needed 20 points for Birds of Tokyo moves it from second bottom to out of the bottom 5, pushing West's own entry into 30th. Poor West. :(

Wolf Gang's success just feels a BIT ruined by it doing quite well in the BJSC earlier this year :(

Wolf Gang and St. Vincent close in on The Hundred in the Hands, and Seekae reach the 100 point barrier. The Good Natured and Hurt are now just outside the top 10 and the bottom 3 all score points, although just 1 for Aura Dione leaves it more stranded at the bottom.

Was that song in BJSC? Who sent it?

Aaron :o I think it came top twenty?

That somebody optionally chose to not vote for Pigeons fills me with rage.

Pigeons is an average song that only got any points from me coz the other songs were meh.

It was a toss up between Pigeons and House Carpenter for my 20pts, I still think its a great find.

Anyhow, off to bed, and Tyron is not invited.

Pigeons is a great song with an even better video; the two songs I'm surprised are doing so well are Towers and Criminal, two songs that seemed to me would appeal to BJSC voters but would bomb here: while I thought Boring Horror and Trøllabundin would be a shoo in for Top 10. I also thought the more pop oriented Wolf Gang would only manage mid table. Clearly, I have no clue. I'm glad Myraid Harbour has recovered from a poor start though, one of my favourite discoveries from the three UP so far. Looks like I will be matching my first song with an 18ish finish (if I can maintain it of course), still a good recovery from Bear McCreary last time and a Top 20 finish is nothing to be snooty about - I never do well in these things  I'm still hoping Seekae will sneek the win.

When I see a lot of rubbish songs above my song I'm filled with RAGE!

I wonder if people listened at least once to my song. I don't think so. Come on, not a f... point for that song?

This is probably the first and last time when I participate. No. 27 so far is awful. A W F U L !

I'm out and super-disappointed.

Don't give up! I came last (or close to) last time and am currently doing very well!

I came #28 last time; there is such a thing as picking yourself up and trying again.

TBH I had to find out about this song for the Indie multichart and I didn't like it then and I don't like it any better now. AND I listened to it at least 4 times before I dumped it.

Not doing too bad so far :D Just kind of going up and down the chart,

There's some fantastic tracks in there though!

Suprised at how well I'm going. Steady stream of points.

I never look at the videos. Do you guys take them into account when scoring?

The song I gave 20 to is doing quite poorly.
