Woo, it's happening!

Gleeksters rejoice! Why? Because the cast of Glee have announced that they’ll all be heading this way for three live concert dates in the UK next summer!

The Glee live concert dates are as follows:

June 22nd – Manchester’s MEN Arena

June 25-26th – London’s O2 Arena

Glee tickets will be on sale as of Friday, November 26th, priced between £45 and £55. And, if you’re not lucky enough to bag tickets to one of the UK dates, there will be other European city tour dates available too – including Dublin on July 2nd-3rd.

"We had so much fun on tour last year that we were all itching to do it again," says Cory Montieth, who plays Glee hunk Finn, "The fact that we're going to Europe to play arenas is mind blowing. This show has been quite a ride."

The Glee cast have already toured four cities in the US, but when they hit our shores next year show organizers are promising that it will be a completely new production, though all the show’s favourite tunes will still be featured, including Empire State of Mind, Toxic and Don’t Stop Believin’.

Can’t wait… Eeeek!

Only three dates though?! Man those tickets will be GOLD DUST.

f***ing AWESOME  We should have a Glee meet-up (Gleetup?) at the London show :w00t:
As if I'm going to be allowed to go all the way to Manchester on a school night, and at that price :nocheer: :(

I would have gone if they did Cardiff or Birmingham...

Can't say I'm fussed enough to spend a lot of money to travel to london, stay in hotel etc.

Wicked that they're playing big arenas though :D

As much as I would love to see them live. I just have horrific visions of how filled the place would be with kids.

LOL this is so true. I'd look relatively ancient compared to most of the people there.

Last night, there were tickets available for the matinee (sp?) performance on Saturday 25th at The 02 (the only one I could make that wasn't yet sold out), but we couldn't buy them as we needed to call my sister to see if she could make it. At around 1pm today, I checked again and they were offering tickets for a block nearer the stage. 20mins ago, I called my sister - she's willing to go - but now they've all "sold out" :snif:

Bit strange, as well. Why would they all sell out in less than 7hrs, when they've added two more dates at The 02. And why would other people suddenly be booking between 1pm & 7:30pm, when they were on X Factor last night, so surely the advertising on there would've made people buy tickets last night/this morning :(

Rant over.

I can't afford to travel 500miles stay in a hotel travel 500miles back and pay for the ticket.

If they came to Glasgow i would be there like a shot.

Two extra London shows went on sale at 9am today, I've managed to get tickets for Sunday 26th June, the mid-day/afternoon performance. Level 4, so high up, but only four rows back and near the stage so the view should still be really good. Better be worth it, £62 per ticket (+ postage), and I got three tickets  Same price as the floor and level 1 tickets which I don't get  Will also need to pay for a train to and from London.

But I really can't wait now :w00t:

I'm still waiting on the feckers coming to Scotland.

Why does nobody come above Manchester anymore?

I know it's a rancid vile little country run by xenophobes and the ubercunt Alex Salmond, but we are fans too and we can't afford to travel down to London constantly for a gig.

This! I feel exactly the same. I'm gutted they're not doing Glasgow, and I'm not travelling to England to one gig. I did travel to London to see the Spice Girls reunion, but that was a one off. I certainly can't afford to do that on a regular basis.

Enjoy Jack! Sorry Silas and Phil, but I don't really feel bad for you because you're like INCHES from Scandinavia :kink:

Yeah, this tbh, plus I'm saving for a holiday and can't afford it :(

I want to go... I can't decide. :(

Just thought I'd bump this up so that people can talk about the upcoming UK tour and what they're looking forward to etc. So here you go. Please use spoilers if you're posting anything which might ruin something for others. (i.e. Set lists/guest stars etc..)
