CROATIA: On Friday died Ladislav Demeterffy, known as Laci or 75 Cents. He was 77.

 

Together with a group Kraljevi Ulice in the song "Romance" he represented Croatia at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest and finished at #21. He was then 75-years-old and is still officially the oldest participant in the history of the contest.

 

This year with Eva Rivas from Armenia in the song "Apricot Stone" participated 82-year-old duduk star Djivan Gasparyan. Unfortunately a musician hasn't been officially listed as a guest artist.

If Juniors have their own song contest, why shouldn't seniors have one :kink:
