Yeah, that, Empire State of Mind, Meet Me Halfway and Airplanes are like the only recent rap songs that are popular on here (although all 4 of them are brilliant, I can't deny that).

 

Two recent hip hop songs that have males singing the hook that are popular on here are Nothin' On You and Written in the Stars, of which the latter is also brilliant.

 

Rap songs can be popular on here, they just have to be truly amazing, crossover with other genres and be radio friendly. However, I find some mediocre pop songs can get really popular on here, really easily.

 

I guess it's all down to opinion at the end of the day.

I feel the upcoming elimination of 'Womanizer' will rather make up for the saddening departure of 'Dance Wiv Me' though.

 

I might not have to start up that facebook page in protest after all.
