I hope that in the near future Darius will consider getting a trendier, younger-looking haircut more in keeping with his personality, although he is still singing "period" music. He's now moving into individual performances, not part of a show recalling an era.

March 29, 201114 yr More natural is better, yes. I think the slicked back hair ages him too much. I could see the point for Billy in Chicago because it was of the era and Darius was very young for the part. As I said, I could also see the thinking for adopting the formal short back and sides for HBB, but IMHO he doesn't need it now and I'd like to see a real change. He'd put in every bit as great a performance with his hair "Rushes/CB" style (short with attitude) or their modern equivalents, wouldn't he? It would be a much better contrast to the rigidity of the suit.
