Nicole Scherzinger Reveals Info About US Version Of 'Killer Love'

 

MTV News caught up with Nicole Scherzinger on the set of her "Right There" video featuring veteran rapper 50 Cent.

 

Nicole revealed a bit of information on the US Version of "Killer Love," her debut album which has already been released in Brazil and various European countries (UK, Spain, France..). In the video above, she reveals that the tracks she worked on with RedOne still are the base of the album and that she worked with the likes of Jim Jonsin, Tricky Stewart, Ne-Yo, 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg.

 

I really like Nicole's album, there are a couple pure fire smashes on it and hopefully the US version will include a few more hit records.

 

I must say though, I'm a bit let down that "Right There" will lead the US version of the album. There are a number of singles being released that sound like they were "Loud" (Rihanna) rejects. Case in point, "I'm Into You," J. Lo, "Lose Control" Keri and Nelly and now this.

 

"Club Banger Nation," "Killer Love," "Heartbeat," or "Poison"

would have been solid lead choices.

Down 17places to 38 in Midweek chart - It always somehoe manages to climb so Expect it to remain top 30.

It's sales aren't really changing much week on week, slight decreases obviously, but only a few hundred, so in the Tuesday midweeks all the frontloaded albums are ahead of her and as their sales tail off during the week, hers don't. I'd be surprised to see her staying top 30 this week though, but still I'm surprised she's managed to stay top 40 this long.

Thursday Update - 25 ! Climb of 13 places. Can see her being 22-24

I'm very surprised she's managed to jump up that far, obviously sales are lower this week than last week.

#24 this week, the album is holding steady, i know sales arent fantastic but at least the album didnt plummet down the charts and each single will give it a boost.

Hopefully Right There kicks in soon and gives it a bit of a boost.

Was Shocked to hear It's only sold 55k! Hopefully promotion with Right here will help it gain a new peak with a discount in price and her appearing on as much television shows as possibile. Single 4 please be Desperate!

I have recently received this album and I lurve Killer Love, Wet, Right There and the two previous singles. The rest of the album leaves a lot to be desired tbh, though there's not a BAD song on here as such - just nothing that quite matches up to the epicness of Poison or DHYB (aside from those I've already mentioned.)

So I've listened to the album again after a long time and Right There is really one of the worst songs on there. Killer Love, Say Yes, You Will Be Loved and Desperate are my favs.
