It's begining to get slightly harder now but I shall go for The Script. Not the worst record in the world by any means, but I've always found them as a band to be rather annoyingly pretentious perhaps. Lyrically perhaps a little too sickly aswell.

I'm going for Sweet About Me, just a totally bland record, but I do like Gabriella Cilmi.

Went for Mercy this round. Even though should have gone for sweet about me or american boy, those two are worse, but i dislike all 3.

I voted Sex on Fire, but I won't mind if The Script or Ne-Yo go either, because they're really boring too.

The Script for me. Echo the people saying it's a generally dull affair.

 

And yay! for Madonna going out. I was really worried this would be here for ages (especially as when I started voting for it not long ago it only had like one or two other voters) but seemingly it picked up a lot of the Take A Bow and Live Your Life voters. Interesting.

 

On another note, the results for this so far have been MUCH better than 2009. Only one song I like has gone (Dizzee Rascal) whereas in 2009, Rage Against The Machine, Dizzee Rascal, La Roux, Calvin Harris and Kid Cudi all went in the first 15 - ridiculous! It's probably going to go downhill soon though...

Wearing My Rolex, Dance Wiv Me, Take a Bow and Live Your Life are songs that I love that are already out. :(

 

There's a couple of other songs I think went a bit too early too, like Low and Heartbreaker, but it hasn't been too bad so far.

"I Kissed A Girl". I know Katy Perry is very much flavour of the month here, but this song is truly atrocious. Not a patch on Hot N Cold, and tATu did the whole fake lesbo thing to much greater effect.

I agree. I wouldn't quite say it's atrocious, but it's just so boring. Hot N Cold is so much better it's not even funny.
