Posted July 21, 200618 yr Out on Monday (24th July) http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B000GCF96W.01._SS500_SCLZZZZZZZ_V65376951_.jpg The album isn't entirely dance, it has quite a mix on there, but it's mostly dance based so I thought this was the best place for it. Anyway, this album is INCREDIBLE and everyone must buy it! (or at least hear it) 1. Believer 2. Voodoo Child 3. Way To Go! 4. World Go 'Round 5. Rescue Me 6. Watching You 7. Change The Channel 8. We're Coming Home 9. Fashion 10. White Lightning 11. In Love Again 12. Casting Aside On it, will feature these 4 singles that were released in Australia, including the UK top 3 smash 'Voodoo Child'. The next single from it here will be 'Watching You'. :D Voodoo Child: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pr66K_490tY.swf Way To Go!: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE3XQW-nCcw.swf Watching You: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kTMdY9XUog.swf We're Coming Home: [flash=450,350]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmCKcdV2QUw.swf
July 21, 200618 yr I have the Aussie version of this already and it rocks - shall be going out to buy 2 copies of the UK one on Monday! :cheer:
July 21, 200618 yr I'm really struggling to think of new things to say about this album anymore... Nutshell wise, it's all very good. They've got some great sounds going on similar to guitar punk like B52s and with the pop of bands like Shampoo and Transvision Vamp, then there's the electroness and samples from The Knack and similairties to The Prodigy. It's a Modern Classic full of infectious songs that annoy themselves into you liking them. :D I have the Australian version too, so I dunno whether to buy it again...seems a bit pointless having 2 but the cover is nice.
July 21, 200618 yr I'm really liking 'Voodoo Child' at the mo, but listening to those other singles puts me right off the album. They all sound very similar and I can't stand her voice, I thought she might actually sing on one of them
July 21, 200618 yr OMG...this sounds really good  Like the four tracks here, nothing generic like cough mccrap cough it sounds really individual and totally addictive, I really hope it goes top 20 at least...Natalie is hot
July 21, 200618 yr Author The album was a mega success in Australia, reaching #2 there and selling lots. I think in the grand scheme of things it'll sell well, though I wouldn't expect it to take off immediately.
July 21, 200618 yr After watching those 4 videos I think if all album is in the same style than it's good! Never heard of Rogue Traders much before (now I know only these 4 songs) and my fave are Voodoo Child and We're Coming Home ;)
July 22, 200618 yr Author 'Way To Go!' is certainly my favourite, I love everything about it. I don't think it's right that 'Watching You' should be next, I think the singles should follow in the same sequence as they did in Australia. I mean, they did well enough there in that precession, so why change for here? Having said that, I'm probably saying this because I'm biased towards my love of 'Way To Go!'. :P
July 23, 200618 yr Two? How come. :P (Just out of sheer curiosity) Because I want 2, one copy to keep nice and one to just totally wear out! It's one of my most played albums and my Aussie copy is all nice and signed now so I don't want to play it too much I guess... Gosh I'm sad! The thing about the singles I think is the video situation, Watching You contains the current members which people in the UK need to get to know more. Way To Go has the old members in it again and I don't think they have time to shoot a new video what with their Aussie tour coming up etc. I too love Way To Go and it got a great reception at the London gig so I too think it should be next, although Watching You is an okay choice too. I think it would be better of them to come up with a second killer single (e.g. Way To Go) as usually 3rd/4th singles don't sell as well and it could get left to that... July 24, 200618 yr Author We're Coming Home is by far the best. One of the least favourites on there for me, but still awesome.
July 24, 200618 yr I got mine, blasting it out now. Well I haven't got the album, but I've got 'Voodoo Child' blasting from my Now 64 CD
July 24, 200618 yr   Heard the album in HMV..it sounds awesome, i really can't wait to get my copy,it sounds amazing...and it helps that natalie looks stunning, her voice sounds different but interesting i think ;) Though in the vid for 'Watchin You', she looks gorgoeus in the white outfit, this band are brilliant, really hope they get the success they deserve!!, hpoefully tomorrows midweeks will be promising *runs to HMV!!* Edited July 24, 200618 yr by 1Dave2006
July 24, 200618 yr Author Natalie looks even more gorgeous in the flesh, the pictures on the album really don't do her enough justice.
July 24, 200618 yr Nah she looks amazing on stage and in real life! I don't like some of the album pictures, although the cover on the UK album is much nicer than the Aus one. *dances around whilst playing cd*
