December 13, 201014 yr Hey!! I'm surprised you love Better Than Today so much, it's so underwhelming for me :( Breathe You In  I love this ballad, my favourite one right now along with the new Sarah Conor single. I hate the new Armand Van Helden track, it's just a bunch of noise imo Loving "Mirrors" by Natalia Kills, i'm hoping big things happen to her next year, all the tracks I've heard from her so far have been fab. Great chart :D

Great chart :D Thanks Dré, I find BTT very cheery and charming, loved it since I first got the album, although admittedly I'd have never picked it as a single. A #7 following two big #1's is hardly THAT spectacular anyway! Breathe You In is gorgeous! Downloaded it from iTunes the other day so it might well make my top ten this week :D Armand's track has a tune in there I think, I can see why people might not like it though!
December 15, 201014 yr RICHARD :) 1. Tove Styrke - White Light Moment (3) (CR-3-2-3-2-3-1) 2. Rihanna feat Drake - What's My Name (1) (CR-8-3-2-3-5-3-1-2) Booo. Should have been number 1 for another week :( 4. Take That - The Flood (2) (CR-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-4) This is really starting to grate on me! 5. Tone Damli feat Vinni - Stuck In My Head (10) (CR-10-5) 6. Nicole Scherzinger - Poison (5) (CR-10-7-6-11-OUT-5-6) 7. Ellie Goulding - Your Song (4) (CR-12-10-4-7) 8. JLS - Eyes Wide Shut (6) (CR-9-6-8) 9. Kylie Minogue - Better Than Today (7) (CR-19-12-11-19-OUT-16-17-12-7-9) 12. Ellie Goulding - Little Dreams (18) (CR-18-12) 15. Sarah Burgess - Just Me (9) (CR-9-15) Can't believe this only came 6th (I think!) The song that won is DULL! 16. David Guetta feat Rihanna - Who's That Chick (15) (CR-8-19-13-15-16) 18. Ellie Goulding - Believe Me (NEW) (CR-18) Gorgeous song. Easily her best to date, for me personally  20. Cheryl Cole - The Flood (20) (CR-16-11-14-OUT-20-20) Also on my current playlist *Alexandra Burke feat Cobra Starship - What Happens On The Dancefloor This is... OK. Nothing to get crazy over though. *Ellie Goulding - Home *Natalia Kills - Mirrors *Natasha Bedingfield - A Little Too Much *Natasha Bedingfield feat Kevin Rudolf - All I Need *Natasha Bedingfield - Neon Lights My favourite from the ones you've added. Although 'Weightless' comes a close second. It's actually a pretty solid album, just nothing worthy of being a smash hit single... *Natasha Bedingfield - No Mozart *Natasha Bedingfield - Weightless Great charts as ever! :D
December 15, 201014 yr Hey Rich :D , my comments this week: 1. Tove Styrke - White Light Moment (3) (CR-3-2-3-2-3-1) Finally :heehee: . It looks like it's set to miss my number one now, but I'm sure it will be a highlight in my number 2's list for many years! 3. Fallen Millie - Want To Be (Under Your Christmas Tree) (NEW) (CR-3) Great to see this enter high! The video is pretty dire, but the song is really nice. Hope they go on to bigger and better things 9. Kylie Minogue - Better Than Today (7) (CR-19-12-11-19-OUT-16-17-12-7-9) Disappointed her cover of Wonderful Life was not included as the b-side considering Hurts put Confide In Me on their single :( 10. E.M.D. - You & Me Song (NEW) (CR-10) I'm not a fan of their covers album sadly, would have liked some new original material 13. Monrose - Breathe You In (NEW) (CR-13) Shame they split up, they were a bit hit and miss though - Hot Summer, What You Don't Know, Strike The Match and This Is Me were all excellent tunes though *Concept Store - Damn! Interesting to see this here! I stumbled across it last week, was thinking I'd be the only one to chart it  *Emma's Imagination - This Day I'm liking the new version of this, but prefer the more acoustic version she released before. Looking forward to her album! *Hurts - All I Want For Christmas Is New Year's Day One of this year's best Xmas releases *Kylie Minogue - Let It Snow I've heard a preview clip of this, and it sounds pretty great! I'm glad she's covered it as I quite like the song, but was never keen on Dean Martin's voice  *The Pipettes - Santa's On His Way I'm finding it hard to get into this one

Agreed about Sarah Burgess/the winning Swiss entry, Switzerland will never get it right :( Alex's new tracks have disappointed me actually, I like What Happens On The Dancefloor the most but it's not amazing, and the others bore me. Give me Leona's additions of Run and Forgive Me any day of the week :P Agreed about Natasha, I like a lot of the songs in an 8.5/10 out of way but I can't see any of them challenging for my top 20 - they miss a spark that she's always had before, it just seems like she's retreading old ground... I couldn't let it miss out, I decided that I truly would regret it if I let it peak at #2! 3. It's so xmassy and great  They're only about 15 I think and still at school - I can't see them ever being huge but this is a nice novelty to tide me over for a few weeks anyway! 9. Luckily I have that on the Radio 1 live lounge album so wasn't too bothered, I was happier to get the live lounge version of Get Outta My Way on the physical that I got. 10. I really like it, but then I like anything remotely 90's related  You & Me Song and Ironic are definitely my two favourites though, although I can see why they went for their toned down versions of Save Tonight and What Is Love for the singles... 13. Yep I agree, although I do love this and it will likely go top ten for me. I'm a sucker for farewell ballads :drama: Vengaboys, S Club, Five etc... The Concept Store song is excellent, found it on some blog and had a listen - it's instant but a grower too! I like both versions of This Day the same but indeed the album should be good, I'm expecting a more commercial sounding Leddra Chapman type album. The Hurts xmas song is good, and even better that it's free on iTunes this week! Definitely a big grower, but yeah the Pipettes one isn't overly amazing, will be dropping back out this week. I left it on my playlist to see if it would grow but it hasn't  Kylie's on the over hand is very good!

Shame Steps never did one though, all we got was Words Are Not Enough :manson: Anything like Leddra's album would be superb! It's times like this I wish I had iTunes :( . Never mind, I'll get hold of it somehow. The Pipettes song is on my playlist too, it's currently number 15 on the bubbling under chart, so it might enter in a couple of weeks when the single release schedule dies down.

Same here, I can't say I've heard of any act doing that before apart from one off novelty acts :o 9. They're very good, if only to get hold of some of the better covers. Some covers are of course dire though! 10. I suppose it's all quite acousticy and downbeat but I do like it a lot myself! 13. Ah yes, Words Are Not Enough was a truly dire final single, their worst single overall actually imo! Agreed, but like many singer songwriter albums, it has just as much chance of being boring and forgettable...

That is true. It depends on whether she has enough songs that are as memorable as This Day and Focus.

That said, I thought Kylie's Wonderful Life was excellent, and it has pride of place on the album - track 2 on disc 1, and was used in the advert for the album, so they clearly think it's a big draw too :cheer: 13. Was it a double a with I Know Him So Well? I can't remember but that track appears on Hits 52, which implies that it was a single... And I didn't even find Focus that memorable
