Viva La Vida isn't the worst song on the list. I loved it for like 2 months after it came out, but now I'm bored of it, but at least I liked it at one point, as opposed to Run, which I found boring from day one (although I prefer it to Snow Patrol's version).

I had hopes that Viva La Vida and Human would make the top 10- but now I see that both will probably fall at the final hurdle and we will yet again have no male acts in the top 10 :(

Should it really matter about gender? You lot think about that too much.

I'm sure people are just voting against songs they dont like.

Actually, I don't really care about it at all, so saying that "I think about it too much" is a bit silly. I just laugh everytime I see the predictability of the site in force and then move on. Rest assured I don't lose a wink of sleep over it, or spend hours thinking "oh gosh, I'm so sad that Buzzjack had an all-female top 10 in x competition". I just find it funny! Maybe you should lighten up and see the amusement in it too :yahoo:

There is clearly a correlation between the songs liked by Buzzjack and the gender of the artists.

 

It may not be that people are sitting there thinking "Oh, I'll vote for this song, because it's sung by a female", people do seem to prefer songs with female vocalists on here.

 

Although, to be fair, so do I, at least in pop and RnB songs.
