January 25, 201114 yr Author Birmingham. They have said this will be their biggest ever Arena Tour to date Yeah i think most of the album will sound bloody brilliant LIVE Well, of course they played a lot of the tracks already on their mini tour. I already think Nowhere Left to Run is awesome live for a start. Just haven't heard That's the Truth (and a few others!). All should be greater with the atmosphere and sound of an arena, though, of couse. Hope you enjoy yourself!
January 25, 201114 yr Author First play of the Video is tommorow on 4 Music Breakfast Fix from 7:00am Thanks for this - but no way will I be awake then!

January 28, 201114 yr Author Thanks :-) it's made it to 289 on I Tunes at the moment too which isn't bad seeing as there's been no promotion yet and it's not out till 6th March. Yep, it was a little higher earlier too. Once they perform it on a show (Comedy Rocks?) it should rise further, and hopefully once it hits the top 40 it'll start rising quickly. This could happen before the 6th depending on promotion!

Plus the Tour promotion and possibly some other tv shows so you never know

Plus the Tour promotion and possibly some other tv shows so you never know They've actually performed for the Cube? They don't usually have bands playing do they?! Do you know who else is on with Tom? Seeing as he went on the cube for Comic Relief, I'm sure the charity and the band are just as friendly with each other as ever and no doubt McFly should perform if they're not busy abroad!

Seeing as he went on the cube for Comic Relief, I'm sure the charity and the band are just as friendly with each other as ever and no doubt McFly should perform if they're not busy abroad!NOPE. Tom is the only member of Mcfly playing though. Yeah rumour is they recorded a special performance for the cube so i guess we will have to wait and see. Mcfly will be in the UK when Comic Relief is on as they will be on the UK Leg of the Tour so they could do what they did for CIN and fly from Children in need back to the LG Arena for the Birmingham show

Would be lovely. Hope so!
February 4, 201114 yr 'Thats The Truth' has now reached it's highest pos on I Tunes at 231 hopefully it will climb more and given there's been no promotion or anything yet and the singles not out untill 6th March i think that is quite good. I have noticed 'Star Girl' also entered the top 1000 and seem to every Friday due to Mcfly friday on Radio 1 i would love to see the Total Figure to Star girl as it's been played every Friday since last may The Album 'Above The Noise' had also re-entered the Album charts on I tunes and has been in the top 110(and is at 107 at the mo) for the past 2 weeks so i guess people are starting to buy it after hearing the '3rd' single All a good sign i guess Edited February 4, 201114 yr by itsme123
February 4, 201114 yr The Album 'Above The Noise' had also re-entered the Album charts on I tunes and has been in the top 110(and is at 107 at the mo) for the past 2 weeks so i guess people are starting to buy it after hearing the '3rd' single All a good sign i guess It's at #96 on iTunes now! Which is great, because the album sales really need to pick up!
February 4, 201114 yr It's at #96 on iTunes now! Which is great, because the album sales really need to pick up!Now at 86 and the album has sold over 70,000 so far so thats better then how Radio:ACTIVE did before it's 3rd release I think Thats The truth and the single after that will boost the album quite a bit
February 5, 201114 yr Author Now at 86 and the album has sold over 70,000 so far so thats better then how Radio:ACTIVE did before it's 3rd release I think Thats The truth and the single after that will boost the album quite a bit I think once That's the Truth makes it to the top 40, Above the Noise's sales will rise towards the top 40 too. I hope so anyway. I caught That's the Truth at #208 at one point yesterday. Fingers crossed it'll go top 200 soon and then keep on rising. I'm not sure if Above the Noise will ever capture the audience enough to be a hit, though. To be honest, it is quite a mix anyway. Even That's the Truth is a little different to the last 2 singles but still has that commercial sound to it which helps. I don't think the new fans buying Shine a Light etc. will enjoy tracks such as 'The End of the World' quite so much. I'd rather they try and release as many tracks as possible from the album, and then by looking at the success (acknowledging how Shine a Light did better than Party Girl for example, which I'm sure That's the Truth will do too) they should select a more defined sound for themselves. Of course they should still experiment, and always aim to do better, but now they have 'Super City' and have had considerable success on the charts compared to recent years, I think they have the best opportunity yet to get things completely right next time. Not to say Above the Noise is bad. There are some fantastic tracks for the guys, and That's the Truth is definitely one of them. Its just to much of a mix and I think it seems just a little too easy to pick the best 4 songs to release. That's different to their last 4 albums which always had me confident that any track would do (except the odd one or two!), if that makes sense. The sound was definitely more defined. Ok, so Room of the Third floor was a little like Above the Noise in terms of album tracks/ singles being easy to pick out, but it was their first one. Haven't felt so confident about the guys since Wonderland though, seriously. Great days ahead, I think.
February 10, 201114 yr I thought 'Thats The Truth' would have been added to Radio1's play list by now. Mcfly will perform it on Comedy rocks This Friday 9:00pm ITV1 and other Tv performances 13 Feb 2011 That's The Truth Repeat - Performance of 'That's The Truth' - Comedy Rocks (ITV1), 26 Feb 2011 That's The Truth Performance of 'That's The Truth' - Let's Dance... for Comic Relief (BBC1), 06 Mar 2011 That's The Truth New single released today, 07 Mar 2011 That's The Truth Performance of 'That's The Truth' - Daybreak (ITV1), 09 Mar 2011 That's The Truth Performing 'That?s The Truth' on The Alan Titchmarsh Show (ITV1), I doubt they will add many more seeing as they will be on their Arena Tour

I agree about Radio 1, seems a bit odd. I would think it will be added at some point! Do you not think they will perform on the actual Comic Relief? Like I think you said before? I'd hope so - not only because of their love for the charity but lets face it, it would be good promotion. So, with it being performed tomorrow, should we expect a good rise? I'm not sure what the viewing figures are like for Comedy Rocks. Not too high I should think, but it is ITV1 and it is a Friday night!

I thought they would have been added to the C play list at least by now. Comedy Rocks gets between 3-4million which isn't a massive amount of viewers but i guess it could help. Thats the truth Reached 202 on I tunes earlier so something is making it rise and Mcfly will also be on Vernon Kaye Show on Radio 1 Sat 19th Feb
February 10, 201114 yr Thats The Truth LIVE from one of their gigs in Amsterdam (Not sure how to add a video on here)
