Why do you call it Sonnet's site......I thought Rachel runs it.

When this thread originally started, it still was.

She's lovely, whatever we call her. She was there one of the times I was at Gone With The Wind. I'm not sure which, possibly the last time I was there.

And snuck of to record the video for us. Her Mum's lovely too.

My homepage opens onto .net and I alays use the click down menu to look at the forum...

The forum will be much missed.

We are going to have to work hard to make sure our own BJ forum doesn't fizzle out through lack of support. It's difficult

when there is so little news, but I hope we can pull together to keep it active.

Hi does this mean that Rachel has completely closed the Forum down on her site? Or is it just temporarily unavailable?

The site is still there and Darius updates, our archive of videos and pictures and interviews will still be on the home page but the forum is permanently closed. It will still be updated so we'll see any new information.

If you don't use it, you lose it, they say. I'm guilty of using the forum on Rachel's site purely for information.

 

I viewed that site as not just another fan site but a pseudo-official site, because it's the one where Darius appears to have more personal input.

 

So I treated it like the other official sites and shied away from posting because I didn't want to rock the boat by posting anything remotely debatable. i wonder how many of the silent majority are like me.

I'm guilty of that too BT!!! And I will really miss the Forum over on .net! :cry: I only really post on any Forum if I have any snippets of information that nobody else has mentioned as I get really upset if posters start to 'bicker' and things get uncomfortable!! The trouble with writing things down is that sometimes the wrong emphasis can be read into the words and the meaning is mistaken!!

I have no idea how much work goes into running a Forum and I am really grateful for the people who are so devoted to doing this for us! Rachel has done us proud and I'm sure she will continue to do so with her website - we are lucky we have this Forum here on Buzzjack to communicate :D I assume the PM system over on .net is no longer!! - I will miss that too!

 

I wonder if Darius will ever have another official website!?

I'm upset at the forum's closing, but it has had very little support from its members lately (regrettably including myself).

On another thread I have already thanked Rachel for all the time and effort she has put into running the forum. However,

the one good thing that may come out of this is the wake-up call it has given our own members. As BT says, if you don't

use it you lose it. It would be a great shame if the BJ D forum also fizzled out through lack of posting support, even though

there is currently so little news.
