It had become a lot of "emotional teenage angst" and "attention seeking" and other issues we try and escape from online. I was a keen poster on there, tho i had several members on "ignore" as life is too short to read about their too personal problems.

 

I'm just extremly pissed off at being treated to badly after years of support in making that website the success it was to have it chucked back at us in such a shabby way.

 

We all have busy lives, but we learn to adapt or ask for help.

 

I am reluctant to toddle off to settle in somewhere new now for the same to happen. :angry:

This forum is comfy and Darius related. It's easy and any information we find, comes on here. It also has other forums which are really good to look through. If you like general discussion, there's the lounge. The chart forum is excellent.

 

Just relax. I'm the same user on here as .net. Maybe that'd put some people off.

 

Anyone can have any opinion on here. Ignore posts that you don't like and just carry on. No one should get abuse for posting their feelings and this forum is as much everyone's who chooses to be here.

Rachel had her reasons and has my support. Life isn't always easy and you deal with it in your own way. we don't see a problem with this site. Rachel and Nina still have the front news page on their sites. This is a good forum for belonging. No one should be trod on for having non standard views. As far as I'm concerned (and I think the majority are with me) everyone is welcome as long as they are interested in Darius' future (or past)

Everyone is most welcome....there is an 'introduce yourself' thread in the sticky part at the top of the page if anyone wants to.

 

Or just do it here.

 

We always put any relevant Daroius info here as well as .net and as Meg says the news pages on .net and Nina's world are still available.

 

If you have lost some info from .net perhaps you could try emailing Rachel and see if she can retrieve it for you.

Could Rachel possibly put a link to this Forum for anyone who wants to chat about D or ask a question? Just a thought - I don't know if this would be considered 'internet etiquette'!! (i.e. is it something that Rachel would be OK with/would the Moderators of Buzzjack have to give their agreement?)

Have messaged her via facebook, explaining how i feel. Am completly disheartened with being a Darius fan now.

I think we need to realise that Rachel's decision to close the forum was far from an easy one for her. Whilst we might not like the way it has happened, let's try and be a little understanding.

 

We all tend to look at things from our own perspective, and there's no-one more guilty of this than me. I don't know why the forum was closed so abruptly, but I do know Rachel to be a lovely person who genuinely cares about Darius and has done plenty to support him and to help us fans over the years, so if she took this decision it must have been necessary :(

 

For those people who wish to chat in a Darius community, you have this forum. I have to admit that .net's forum closing has knocked me sideways, even leading me to question whether I wish to continue supporting D as I have previously. I know D will be fine with or without my support, maybe it's time I moved on and got some pleasure from some other areas of my life instead of holding out for months at a time in the hope of some news about him :( I will always love his voice and treasure meet and greets with him and other Darius followers, but to me this just feels a little bit like the beginning of the end :(

 

I have waited to post my feelings as I wanted to be sure the info of Rachel's forum closing was correct.

 

I would like to thank Rachel for all her work over the last few years and wish her well for the future :)

Cheer up, BP. I think we are all going through a bad patch at the moment. But I think D may also have hit a bad patch, so he

possibly needs our support (as his fans) more than ever. Give it a little time to sort itself out.

When Gone With The Wind was closing, for the first time I saw D's Superman cape ruffled. He always seemed Teflon coated before this to me, but to my shock I discovered he is only human like the rest of us and things do actually get to him. His spirit won't allow him to be kept down, no matter what comes along, and I will always want the best for him, but I just can't shake this feeling at the moment :cry:

He will be fine, BP. I can't help supporting him. I feel he's special. Not perfect but special, normala and exrtremly kind.

I had been wondering what had happened, I must admit I had been posting less and less and just looking for infor on the forum, I didnt like the non darius stuff on ther tbh, so if it wasnt D related I wasnt interested.

I just hope the actual site isnt lost as ther is so much info on there regarding Darius. Rachel has kept it open for so long, so I can understand its closing.

I just hope we continue to get great use from this forum, where we can post gossip etc about darius!!

 

 

The information is still there. You can watch the vids, look at the interviews see th pics in the gallery. She'll keep this going as she has the time to do that without any strain. Thank goodness for Buzzjacks.
