I was just watching All I Care About Is Love on the site. Darius has such a lovely warmth to his voice on that.

 

It's just a shame he didn't get to sing any of the G&D songs on TV - I would have loved to have some kind of record of Darius singing My Time Of Day/I've Never Been In Love Before.

 

I do hope he'll have at least one great solo song in GWTW and that this time he won't have to stifle his power.

The sound engineer has to get it right as well. Let's hope they do.

Do you think anything will be revealed before the first preview?

 

I think they've left their promotion very late. I suppose they wanted to wait to get Scarlett and Rhett.

 

When you think about the publicity for every cast change in Chicago! I swear, one time in London - every tube station I was in, there were posters of Darius and every bus my bus followed seemed to have Darius on the back. I couldn't get away from him. Unsurprisingly it didn't upset me too much.

I think it'll start after the first week or so off rehearsals. The publicity shots should be taken in the first week - then we may see it all start.

I like the artwork on the official Gone With the Wind site but the site itself is not very inspirational as yet.

 

It needs something more - photos, little snippets, a blog maybe, something to whet the appetite about the staging of the show

I'm sure they'll have them shortly. It was only a few days ago that they knew Darius was Rhett. I should think it'll be a priority to get the pics taken and out.

I still haven't go the lyrics back. Nowhere to check things against.

I only rcognise it from Darius' 'Stars Crash Down' .

Really? In my mind, I can hear a female singing it.

It could be, I can only think of D singing it.

I got the quote slightly wrong and it's actually Big Yellow Taxi.

 

I'm not sure if I was hearing echoes of Joni Mitchell or Michelle Branch (+ Counting Crows)

'You Never know what you got 'til it's gone' - or something like that. Another song i lke.

It was funny when the Counting Crows version came out and lots of people on various sites that they thought at first it was Darius.

I never thought it sounded like Darius but I really liked that one.
