Don't you think they will be appropriate this time BT!! I'd better tell Wendy not to bring them!!! :nono:

Julie

I know what you are getting at BT

We had some girls whistling behind us and it really annoyed me.

At the end of the show he used to always glance our way but that day he didn't....but I'm sure he knew it wasn't us whistling

There's been other bits that have narked too, but over all most people are good and watch the whole show not just D.

Darius is very good at ignoring and keeping his concentration :D

Yes you're right about Darius. I remember reading a comment on a theatre site at the time of G&D which praised Darius, saying that although there were obviously a lot of D fans there, he stayed in character all the way through and didn't let anyone faze him.

I think most of us are fairly well behaved!!! :D

Well, most of the time. It's when we're out of the theatre we may not be little angels.

He does concentrate on whatever he's doing totally - well, except once. I remember him doing a double take. Spam noticed as well. no one was misbehaving though, just sitting very still and quietly.

...yes....very still and quiet :)

It was the only time I've ever notice him look at the audience when he shouldn't

Well they shouldn't have long gaps without Darius then.

My attention was all over the place in both shows waiting for Darius's first entrance and whenever he was off stage for a while.

It helped that the rest of the Guys and Dolls principals were so strong and it was a funny show. The nowadays bit at the end of Chicago seemed interminable.

There's a longish gap without Rhett in GWTW - the deprivation scenes at Tara. I'm hoping there will be great songs in that bit.

A lot of that wont be in it though - no Will, so all that'll have to go. I can't help thinking they'll have to have Ellen and gerald's death and Rhett is there for the second one.
I can't see those scenes being cut. Surely they're vital as they show some of the reasons for the change in Scarlett from skittish girl to steely woman.
I think she was always selfish and only thoughtful if she felt she would be in trouble for doing something.
Those deprivation scenes at Tara in the film were the only time I ever had the tiniest bit of compassion for Scarlett.
Scarlett is really irritating me. I feel like shaking her out of her selfishness.
Yes, she comes over very badly. Yes she works hard on Tara but, that's because uit's hers and sh still bullies thioase around her. Rhett was the only one who stood a chance with her - and she blew that.
So far Rhett is the only character I like and Darius is so perfect for him.
