17 Robyn: Dancing On My Own (Peak: 3 weeks @ #1)

http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/5697/robync.jpg

- Initially sluggish to climb the chart, Dancing On My Own eventually made a 15-1 jump to the top

- Depsite the challenge of living up to the massive acclaim of the "Robyn" era, the single version really drew me into the song, and has thus far been the highlight single of Body Talk series

- Little Lion Man had the most irratic chart run of 2010; it was a #1, spent only 3 weeks in the Top 10, but spent endless weeks between 11-30

- Not catching onto this folk-rock song until it's US release in Summer 2010, there's no denying that these guys are incredible musicians who deserve everything they have coming to them

11 Arcade Fire: We Used To Wait (Peak: 3 weeks @ #1)

http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/8386/arcadefire.jpg

- We Used To Wait spent 3 weeks at #1 & 8 weeks in the Top 10

- Nearly anything Arcade Fire produces has the highest acclaim you can imagine & We Used To Wait was an excellent return for the group who cannot do anything wrong muscially

The Blues track I really love it, I guess it was the same for me, Nina Persson attracted me to it, the track just fell all into place, I know the track is a bit long, but it just grows on you I never get bored with it.

I comment on the rest of the chart when you finally have the top 100.

- Wunderkind became the 1st song to ever debut at #1

- Apart of the Narina soundtrack in late 2005, I had never heard this song prior to Alanis singing it at the 2010 Winter Olympics; one of the best singer-songwriters of the past 20 years, she continues to blossom

- Giving Up The Gun peaked at #2 & spent 9 weeks in the Top 10

01 Marina and The Diamonds: Oh No! (Peak: 3 n/c weeks @ #1)

http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/7766/marinado.jpg

- Oh No! took 18 weeks to reach #1 from it's initial debut, 8 weeks in the Top 10

- The stand out track from The Family Jewels, Oh No! was the song of the year for me, even before it became a single; Marina is everything right with pop music!

Edited by West

I found Hollywood the best of all Marina's track she released last year, Hollywood is just catchy with the catchy chorus.

I'm surprised Crystal Castles/Robert Smith finished top 5 for you in the year to date, when the track is only been released for the past month :o

I failed to chart an Arcade Fire track in my year to date chart, probably because I got bored with their album too quickly.

Great chart overall.
