January 29, 201114 yr Author No there's no buyout clause. Its all fiction. There's a few rumours going round that he's withdrawn his transfer request, although don't know how true those rumours are. I think he's a fantastic player, but the ball is entirely in Liverpool's court. Chelsea don't want him, Abramovic wants him. I'd be pleased with £60m. Torres' goalscoring record is imaculate, and he is as much a brand as he is a player. Think he is the biggest shirt seller in the Premier League still, so the damage would be massive even though there'll be a huge transfer kitty. We'll see anyway. Unless he comes out with a personal statement, I can still see him going in the summer..
January 29, 201114 yr I just wish these deals would be sorted out and done swiftly and without any messing about. Torres isn't going to leave in this window, so this whole saga will drag on and on and on and tbh i'm already sick of hearing about it. Mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, speaking of deals which have dragged on we've signed Muntari on loan and Sessegnon for £7m.

Pretty sure he will be a Chelsea player by Feb 1st at the moment.
January 30, 201114 yr Author Spurs have also had a 38.5m bid rejected for Sergio Aguero...Craig would be loving this.
January 30, 201114 yr Suarez passes medical and agrees personal terms... just what we need, another cheating twat in the Premiership!!
January 30, 201114 yr Author Suarez passes medical and agrees personal terms... just what we need, another cheating twat in the Premiership!! Liverpool need a twat of a player tbh, and at least he'll add bite to the Premier League :D
January 31, 201114 yr Torres - hope he stays, £40 mil plus Anelka looks like going through unfortunately :( REINA JOHNSON...AGGER...SKRTEL...AURELIO GERRARD...MEIRELES KUYT...RODRIGUEZ/COLE...SUAREZ TORRES That's more than a Europa League side - and Anelka IMO is not a player worth £10 mil (as the deal goes), and I don't feel he'll add to the team - Stay Torres!
January 31, 201114 yr I wake up to find Forest have signed a player! :o :D Rooney, you can thank Billy Davies later! ^_^
January 31, 201114 yr Daily Mirror journalist Darren Lewis is reporting that Liverpool have accepted a bid for Fernando Torres.
January 31, 201114 yr Author Konch is a good signing for Forest, and most bottom half PL clubs, but just not for Liverpool. And the whole Twitter thing with his mum (LOL) was just his death sentence in a Liverpool shirt Torres is almost certainly gone. Well, only if Liverpool can get a replacement. £30m bid turned down for Carroll. Good player, but 30m? But I presume that's more down to the fact he signed a long sontract not so long ago. Llorente would be my ideal replacement, but perhaps i'm living in FOOTBALL MANAGER WORLD. I still think we'll sign Charlie Adam as well, as Blackpool have got Andy Reid on-loan, and for some silly idea we've still not given up the idea of signing Ashley Young.
January 31, 201114 yr York signed anyone yet, Roo? And also LMFAO @ £30m for a big, lanky, thuggish fucking head on a stick. If anybody is stupid enough to pay that for Andy Carroll they need shooting.
January 31, 201114 yr Author York signed anyone yet, Roo? And also LMFAO @ £30m for a big, lanky, thuggish fucking head on a stick. If anybody is stupid enough to pay that for Andy Carroll they need shooting. Signed Jamie Reed not so long ago from Bangor. Got a midfielder on loan from Leeds. Can see us buying/getting on loan another right full back/centre back but idk. Our season is pretty much over. We're playing Crawley and AFC Wimbledon twice in the next 2 weeks, so those resutls will either push us to mid-table, or up to the play-offs.. £35m bid now submitted by Liverpool aswell.. tbf whilst its not who I would want to replace Torres with we NEED a proper striker. I wouldn't be too displeased with Carroll, Suarez and Adam, then a top class winger and central defender in the summer.
January 31, 201114 yr Liverpool's new owners clearly have more money than sense, then. Even if Carroll wasn't a vile Geordie thug I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team unless I supported the likes of Stoke or Blackburn who play that sort of shit, long-ball rubbish which suits him.

Even if Carroll wasn't a vile Geordie thug I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team unless I supported the likes of Stoke or Blackburn who play that sort of shit, long-ball rubbish which suits him. Don't think they're loaded, but we'll have sold Torres & Babel so that will probably be £60m. Carroll is not worth £35m, but I think he'd suit Liverpool. We don't have any really agressive players, and our ratio of goals from set play is appauling. It's obviosuly something that Comolli and the owners will have looked at, as all the players we've been linked with suit the ares we're weak at. Suarez is another free kick taker/penalty taker, and Adam is a dead ball specialist, and Carroll scores a lot of goals with his head. Still gutted that Torres is going, as he's obviously going to be back to his best at Chelsea, but the way he's gone about his move is utterly stupid. Kenny Dalglish made him cry/on the verge of cyring last night apparently.
January 31, 201114 yr Back in the wonderful world of Sunderland we've let Reid go to Blackpool (Possibly paving the way for Charlie Adam's departure, even though Reid's nowhere near as good), and Paulo Da Silva's gone to Zaragoza. I like Da Silva but he's got all the speed and manouvrability of the Titanic, just not cut out for the Prem. Best of luck to them both. Bruce has confirmed we're not getting anybody else in, can't blame him being put off by some of the ludicrous fees being paid out for painfully average players *cough*Carroll*cough*. This has to have been the most senseless, over-inflated transfer window since the January transfer window was introduced.
January 31, 201114 yr Torres look's done - £52 mil accepted I think; medical currently :( Suarez scored 81 goals in 108 matches with Ajax, so not bad at all, hopefully he'll fire in some more for the Kop! I was hoping for a more Pato/Thomas Muller/Higuain/Aguero experience player than Carroll, I hope we can find someone better than him this evening...
January 31, 201114 yr £35m reportedly accepted for Carroll, and bookies have stopped taking bets on the move. Adam's odds of moving there have also slashed to 1/5

January 31, 201114 yr Odds on us (Man United) signing Adam have plummeted to 1/4 while his odds to join Liverpool are at 5/2 now!!
