I don't know what badges you are speaking of but it's a bit heavy-handed considering they don't own the format.

 

It's a shame they are, because it stops a lot of freedom and why members visit Devoted and other sites. They are doing themselves no favours.

 

I haven't got a clue what zigzag is on about to be honest, most of the siggies on both sights have badges, logos etc in them, it's perfectly ok to use them, there's a whole page of them posted up for everyone to use, I think zigzag is getting mixed up with using them for selling puposes, which we are not. :D

I am not getting mixed up, but the logo's were stopped being used for copyright purposes, and as BJ is not affiliated in anyway to the O/S I cant see them being allowed to use it, but carry on! there was a thread that I PM'd an admin with, let them sort it out,

If it were a matter of copyright then everyone on the whole WWW are in breach with their siggies that use pix made up from album covers etc. Why should it bother you that much - was it you who wanted to sell the badges ^_^

I think Zigzag is attempting to stop a legal issue with this site and the official site by informing the admin here about the badges. She's being nice -_- Unless I've completely misunderstood :unsure:

Will site had a problem because someone wanted to sell merchandise with Will's name on it. A banner heading is not selling merchandise.
