the top 3 alternated spots, scott pilgrim for the fact that it was visual candy + wonderfully rich with music/hipster jokes and video game references, dogtooth for being one of the most unique movie viewing experiences i've had, and toy story 3 for the fact that (like one of my favorite movies of all time, up) was powerfully universal and spoke so wonderfully of childhood and growing up. in the end, i can't deny the fact that i sobbed like a baby for the last 30 minutes of toy story. pixar wins me over again.

 

just missing out: Enter the Void, How to Train Your Dragon, 127 Hours, Greenberg, I Am Love

'The Kids Are All Right' is amazing :wub: Such a genuinely funny and touching movie. I think Annette Bening was my favourite thing about it.

havent seen dogtooth, it just seems far too weird for me.

It's rull good. I recommend seeing Let the Right One In first though, if you haven't already.
