Ya they are either #21 or #22 today so i reckon they wont be getting top 20 now, if anything it will drop more unless somthing major happens, top 25 will be its best at this stage i think.
Well there is a strong chance the third single will do better than kids if the get their ass in gear, ie video out in time, small bit of promo etc.

haha yeahh not too much to ask really is it!

i mean how hard would it have been to appear on the alan carr show and the graham norton thing? tv bosses would kill to have take that on their show cos they know it will boost the rating so it could have easily been done :/

apparently this will be the first single since once you've tasted love to miss top 20 if it carries on falling...the iTunes single version isnt even in the top 100 anymore :/

Ya its doing absolutly terrible on itunes, looks like people are just buying the album and hardcore fans buying the phyisical, granted kidz isnt a patch on the flood but its a decent song that deserves better, still as a fan i cant complain, i got the phyisical which i like collecting, we got the new b side and the album has done brilliant, if the album hadnt done great and the single was performing like this i would be worried. Said it all was the third single from the circus and it made top 10 where as the 2nd single up all night ( best single of the album) only went top 20 so maybe something like that will happen with the third single of progress.
I have no words. They should sack their management ASAP!! They also need to get off their lazy asses and work. What's wrong with them? The only reasonable explanation is that they're preparing a Comic Relief single and simply don't want to waste their energy and time to other stuff..Other than that, there's no logic to their behavior.

Well it has slipped again in todays midweeks update, from what i can make out its number 24, so at this stage i just hope it can stay top 30 now. I wouldnt really go as far to say sack their management, the success they have achieved since their return and the success of progress as it stands and the tour for me show is anything management is doing a good job, album and dvd sales for take that are fantastic especially in the current climate.

Granted kidz is totally underperforming but as i have said before apart from the lead singles the lads dont seem to promote singles that much and i would guess they are released out of formality to promote the album and the phyisical is released for the hardcore fans to keep the collection complete. I do think though that kidz has been hard done by by its messy release ie video, promo etc but the brit performance alone is good promo so its not like it got no promo at all, i think the probelm with kidz aswell is it was due to be promoted back in decemeber on x factor but it had to be pulled so the promotional tool for kidz was kinda screwed around, maybe had they performed kidz on the x factor final instead of the flood it would have been released earlier and charted better.

Still i wont complain as i said before the album has done huge business in just over 3 months and even if it never sold another single copy it has done well, but we know there are plenty of sales left in it yet, i also think the boys are concentrating on work for the tour and material for the progress deluxe version and if thats the case i will settle for kidz doing badly.

A bit harsh to say sack the management when up until now the management has, as Pete has said, done right by them. It does seem a habit with Take That to only promote the lead single ... if I recall there was no real promotion for Up All Night or Said It All. Said It All's higher peak of 9 was surely due to the fantastic video they did for it and the song. Poor UAN had no help at all - in fact it was hindered by a p*ss-poor video.

I think it was due to there being 3 physical formats; a 2-track, a maxi-single and a DVD. Plus if you brought all three from Play.com (the tour sponsor) you got them in a special cardboard sleeve. I seem to remember my copies turning up on release date but the cardboard sleeve turning up on its own in a jiffy bag months later

I think the next single will be a new track, it should be due around May when the tour starts which is the perfect time for a new single and the Progress Tour Edition.

I'd forgotten about those! However - at least the DVD was worth buying (in fact - I think it was the only reason I bought the set - it certainly wasn't for the 'b' side).

I don't think there'll be another single at all (not this time around anyway).

I think they will go with a third single whether its of progress or a new one of progress deluxe, whether the single does well or not it will sell the album and thats what they are after.
Kidz is a new entry at #1 in the phyisical singles chart, least the phyisical has done well, shame about the download.
Vid should be quite good. It looks really interesting.
#28 in the UK this week up 3 places, i would think it purely only sold on phyisical this week with very few downloads, im kinda disapointed it missed the top 25.

Someone has uploaded the video from a tv screening onto youtube.

Not great quality but it gives you an idea ... and it settles the argumen of who sings the chorus - its Gary not Rob.

Howard really should go into films - he looks like he'd be brilliant in one of those 'sword and sandals' films!
