I'd say it's ok news  Wish it was a full season, and that Calista would be there for all of them, but what can you do. At least the show will get a proper sendoff

They don't just win a poll... They also get extra backing from them it comes to the Upfronts in May. But hey ho, people know where the link is if they want to vote

Extra backing from E doesn't mean anything to ABC/CBS et al. By the May sweeps it's too late to save a show, you can't magically reverse an entire seasons worth of $h!t ratings with 2 weeks of mediocre ones in the last two weeks of the season.

If a network is going to renew a bubble show it's not going to be down to a SOSPoll and the subsequent 'backing' from E.

Fox have let the cancellation bear feast on their schedule with Traffic Light, Breaking In, Human Target, The Chicago Code and Lie To Me all cancelled.
Question: I’ve heard there are two endings for the One Tree Hill finale — one to be used as a season finale and one for a series finale. Does that mean we will find out if it has been renewed for a ninth season before the finale airs? —Erin

Ausiello: You’re actually going to find out right now: The show is returning next season for roughly 13 episodes. I’m willing to bet all of my Super Smurfs on it. As a result, I assume they’ll go with the season finale airing May 17.

:w00t: :w00t: :w00t: This better be true, if not I will kill the man.

I want a whole season of OTH :( But hey, better than nothing.

Lie To Me

I'm not starting to watch Breaking In then

They usually only get 13 episodes anyway and then later on the year it gets more episodes.

I would say that it's 13 episodes too many, but the truth is it's 9seasons too many.

If it is true, the 9th Season will be its last :(

Parenthood and Chuck renewed on NBC. Harry's Law not actually confirmed as renewed yet but thought to be.
One Tree Hill - I just could never get into it. Just seemed like a Dawsons Creek remake to me.Surprised it's still running tbh.
Harry's Law confirmed now too. Also Two And A Half Men is coming back since Ashton Kutcher has signed on to replace Charlie Sheen.

Ashton Kutcher? Really? Wow. It might actually be watchable. Probably not.

Surprised they've renewed Chuck. WB must have given it to NBC for free. No way it's not cancelled next year.

It's only 11 episodes away from syndication... if it was just a 13 episode order that'd be ideal for them. Do you watch it Phil? Should I start? It's by Josh Schwartz which is pretty ace pedigree...

It's probably one of the 6 US TV shows I don't watch

It is on my too watch list though, just not at the top.

CHUCK <3

AMAZING.
