THE MOST IMPORTANT NEWS SINCE THE BONES RENEWAL:

Body of Proof has been renewed.

Better With You has been axed and HBO series Treme has been renewed.

Can't believe Brothers and Sisters is going, devastated :(
I'm so sad for 3 of my favourite shows today. Even though there is still hope for The Event, there are talks that another network might pick it up.
For a show that has been on for 5 years, Bro and Sis was worthy of a proper ending. They should of cancelled it months ago to prepare the writers time for an ending. They did that with Ugly Betty.

It had a proper finale. I love the way it ended.

From the fan comments I've read it does seem as though the season finale also happened to double as a pretty good series finale. Maybe the producers sensed that it could be the final season and unofficially wrote it as a series finale with potential to go onto another series. I'm still only on season 2 myself but I do love the show (or the first two seasons of it) so I hope I'll be alright with how it ended when I get round to it.

Well it's just my opinion by I do think the first 2 seasons are by far the best, it starts going downhill after that, but dont most shows? I think season 5 has been decent enough, you just get attatched to their characters (even if some of them change a lot throughout the seasons) and want to keep up with their stories.

I am very eager to see the ratings plunge for The Office and Men without both the lead stars. They likely will i believe.

Men's ratings will clearly go through the roof in the season premiere. The hype over Sheengate and the replacement of his character with a high profile celebrity is a pretty big thing. Most people will tune in purely out of interest to see how it plays out. I doubt it'll hold though and it has another couple of years in it at best.
Blue Bloods 'a lock' to return according to Deadline. Seems very odd given the ratings.
I still haven't gotten around to watching Mad Love but it had an awesome cast from what I recall and that's what interested me more than the concept. Shame it's been purged :(
I watched the first episode of Mad Love yesterday and I would've recommended it but now that it's been cancelled I'm not going to watch any more. No point. The cast was really good though with the exception of Jason Biggs who was absolutely, shockingly terrible. Like seriously.

I'm really quite surprised at that. He and Sarah Chalke were my main attraction

Then again, I found him funny back when I was a teenager and he was in 'American Pie' so nuff said...

Haiwai 5-0, Mike & Molly and Blue Bloods renewed by CBS.

I'm getting so fucking nervous for The Good Wife now. Surely they can't not bring it back? And if it does get a full episode order for a third season it's almost a lock for a fourth too (to reach syndication) so basically IT CAN'T END YET.
