Anyone think the album will make the 5 million sales. Its roughly 350,000 away at present and sells between 2 and 3 thousand a week nowadays. I think what will happen is it will sell in low low numbers for a good few months yet and when she eventually releases the third album 21 will get a sales boost and at that stage will get its 5 millionth sale.

I think it should definitely get to 5m sales eventually, even if it takes a few years. I don't think it's going to climb any higher on the all-time albums list though.

 

I'm still patiently waiting for it to get a price reduction....it's never had one before, so I'm expecting a big boost when it does finally happen (presumably there's been a lot of people holding off buying it specifically because they're waiting for it to be put on offer). Hopefully they do it in a dead August week or something so that it has a chance of flying back all the way to #1!

A price reduction now would be ideal, currently number 64 so still hanging onto its top 75 consecutive run which is something, a price reduction would help it remain in the charts and possibly give the sales a boost.

Much like the 19 one so nostalgic to read back on threads of people’s thoughts / opinions at the time of what was about to happen.

 

After giving this album a spin I think I’d probably rank the tracks from the 11 track edition as following

 

1. Rolling In The Deep

2. Set Fire To The Rain

3. Rumour Has It

4. Turning Tables

5. Take It All

6. Someone Like You (overplay may have affected this one for me the BRITs performance still gives me chills though)

7. Don't You Remember

8. I’ll Be Waiting

9. One and Only

10. He Won’t Go

11. Lovesong

 

It’s a stunning album and was a real step up from 19. I do personally think 25 is (so far) her magnum opus in terms of it being her best album it speaks more to me than what 21 does but I can’t deny it’s a brilliant album.
