Pretty cool how their fansite as sighted your chart as one of the UK's most significant charts! :lol: If only the official chart had acts like Yohanna, Sheelah, Tove Styrke and Maria Haukaas Mittet in it :(

10. Adele - Set Fire To The Rain (16) (CR-16-10) This is indeed one of the highlights of a strong album. I think I prefer 21 to 19 as a whole, but 19 had more standout tracks

14. Hanne Sørvaag - You're Like A Melody (NEW) (CR-14) Really nice song, but I doubt it'll trouble the scoreboard at Eurovision, she doesn't come across very confident on stage. The performance is very reminiscent of Anna Bergendahl's last year

15. Maria Haukaas Mittet - Glorious (NEW) (CR-15) Good song, much better than the stuff she released last year

10. I only like 5 tracks on 19 I think - the 4 singles and My Same, as covered on Lena's debut album! I like pretty much all of 21 and it has the same number of highlights for me.

14. I can't see it getting to the 'superfinal' of MGP, reckon it will have a similar result to Venke Knutson last year...

15. Agreed, her last album was bland as hell but this is anthemic and a welcome return to form :D

 

I was quite surprised at this being picked as a single for Sophie but I do like it a lot - it's already been top 20 before for me last summer. Agreed about Fragma, Toca spawned 8 top 5 hits in my singles chart - the 3 big singles and 5 album tracks :rofl: Agreed about Girl Happy - was really upset to see the lead singer put in such a terrible vocal as the song is like a poppier version of Starlight by Muse - love it! I can't see Ola having a hit here tbh, only AATW seem to get hits out of European artists, and even then very rarely :( Stella's live performance was really great, I'm fully behind this for ESC now I think, it's their best shot at success. I love Allergic too but it's got no chance of winning MGP whatsoever, at least this has a huge chance - it's been #1 on iTunes for the last 3 days!

I don't even understand how they found it - when I typed in 'Sheelah - The Last Time' on Google, my chart didn't pop up...I wouldn't have thought anything of it if they'd just said that it was #2, but the fact that they also stated that it was the 'song of the week', which it also was in my chart thread last week :lol: I don't think any personal chart on here can be referred to as one of 'England's most important rankings' :lol: Although my chart does seem to get 3 or 4 times as many comments/views as even the second most popular on here - I've never quite understood why that is, but it certainly gives me more incentive to carry on doing it!

10. I also love Lovesong, Someone Like You and Turning Tables :wub: Yes indeed, although not wishing to sound like a loon - I liked all six of the songs to some extent. Ranking them in comparison to each other, Taken By A Stranger was certainly my favourite and unless there's something incredible in the second semi, should be her choice for ESC - looking forward to the album leaking next week (hopefully)!

14. I agree there - although it became a big chart hit in Norway post-contest! Not as big as Yes Man which had 6 weeks at #1 there though - strange that couldn't make top 3 in MGP considering :o

 

Everytime You Need Me was my favourite Fragma song but all three singles were amazing to me, and #1's in my chart :wub: Yep, I definitely agree with you there, and she could go on to do extremely well in Dusseldorf too, which can't be said about anything else in MGP this year :lol:

I don't even understand how they found it - when I typed in 'Sheelah - The Last Time' on Google, my chart didn't pop up...I wouldn't have thought anything of it if they'd just said that it was #2, but the fact that they also stated that it was the 'song of the week', which it also was in my chart thread last week :lol: I don't think any personal chart on here can be referred to as one of 'England's most important rankings' :lol: Although my chart does seem to get 3 or 4 times as many comments/views as even the second most popular on here - I've never quite understood why that is, but it certainly gives me more incentive to carry on doing it!

10. I also love Lovesong, Someone Like You and Turning Tables :wub: Yes indeed, although not wishing to sound like a loon - I liked all six of the songs to some extent. Ranking them in comparison to each other, Taken By A Stranger was certainly my favourite and unless there's something incredible in the second semi, should be her choice for ESC - looking forward to the album leaking next week (hopefully)!

14. I agree there - although it became a big chart hit in Norway post-contest! Not as big as Yes Man which had 6 weeks at #1 there though - strange that couldn't make top 3 in MGP considering :o

 

Everytime You Need Me was my favourite Fragma song but all three singles were amazing to me, and #1's in my chart :wub: Yep, I definitely agree with you there, and she could go on to do extremely well in Dusseldorf too, which can't be said about anything else in MGP this year :lol:

 

01 - Maybe what with the high amount of Scandi releases in your chart, they publish it in Sweden as one of England's most important rankings? :kink:

10 - I liked That Again and Good News also last night, but the others were just "ok" imo. I'm looking forward to seeing what's in the next semi.

14 - Yeah I can't figure out why Yes Man didn't do as well as it's chart performance suggested it should have done. I also fail to see how Didrik did so well :lol:

 

It's got a great feelgood vibe about it. Lots of people are comparing it to Allez Olla Ole and saying it will be slaughtered by the jury, but I think Haba Haba has got a much higher likeability factor than Jessy's song did.

I just don't understand how it could get 500-600 views when most get 100-200?

10. I liked the final song, which went through, and the two you mentioned. Since the show, Maybe has grown on me significantly and I Like You seems a lot more boring to me now...

14. Indeed, it was bizarre that he had SUCH a comprehensive victory, I thought A1 and Bjorn would have put up more of a fight. I bet they wish they'd went with one of those two after seeing where Didrik ended up in the ESC final :lol: It didn't help that Ireland's song was so similar (but better) I guess...

 

I definitely agree with you there, Allez Ola Ole came across as very frantic, boyish and harsh (even though I really grew to love it after the performance) whereas Haba Haba is more summery, breezy and feel good and I could see it doing very well.

10 - Good News reminded me of some of the songs on Lenka's album. It was my third favourite, was quite surprised it didn't qualify over Maybe.

14 - :lol:, true! I wonder if we had entered It's My Time last year we would have been down the bottom with all the other big ballad numbers? :unsure:
