Who's in it?

The ever-lovely Will Young shows off his acting chops as Ryan, acting alongside the likes of Theo James, Ashley Madekwe and Charlotte Salt who play Jed, Molly and Kate respectively.

In a nutshell

This spooky new series is set to ensure that those long dark nights of February are anything but boring. Set in an old mental hospital, Bedlam Heights, the spirits of the old patients are re-awakened as the place is renovated and converted into apartments. So while the new inhabitants might be planning on enjoying their classic Victorian flat, the vengeful spirits of the dead have other ideas.

Stacked with terrifying hauntings, apparitions and a whole other host of spine-tingling supernatural shenanigans, the show will put each resident through their paces as they try to withstand an other-worldly onslaught. As a whole history of unhappiness, dark secrets and mental instability combine with the undead, the big question is, who, if any, of the flatmates will survive the nightmare?

Really enjoyed last nights Pilot, Kate seems quite hard and cold to me but she might turn out to be totally different to how she first appears..also Molly's friend Zoe, the one who disappeared, she was in the courtyard and the last person to see her before her disappearance was Warren, Kate's father. I'm sure there's going to be much more to him! It Looks like there will be one main story inside the different stories in each episode, i was engrossed.

Loved geeky and cute Ryan and brooding Jed  and I'm looking forward to next week already even if the throat cutting clip was a bit explicit

Anyone still watching this, best spooky drama on TV at the moment.

Love the empty box that kept on appearing, excellent series.

Thought tonight was the best episode so far. Now we have got to know the main characters the plot is building nicely & all the intriguing pieces are beginning to fit.

Is the young girl in tonight's episode from the last series of Skins? Thought she gave an excellent performance.

Loving this show. I caught up with Episode 2 and 3 this week. I thought the episode with Kara Tointon was gripping. She played a good part. Overall, it's an addicting show.

Is it actually doing well though?

Yes it's doing really well for SkyLiving..one of the writers tweeted that it was their highest rated Drama ever ..also it's heading to BBC America and will air on Saturday night prime time there at some point. ^_^

Episode three is my favorite episode so far and I'm really enjoying it, besides the solving of the weekly ghost plot there is the more intriguing main plot about the main characters... like .. Is Warren just too obvious as the big baddie? why does Kate ends up in that spot night after night? who sends Jed the text and laptop messages, What's happend to all those girls over the years? and why did Jed tell Ryan that he couldn't see his brother any longer when he can?

All in all I'm Liking the character development of both Jed and Ryan but i think Molly has been underused so far.

The clips for part 4 look brilliant...Scary creepy kids.

That's Brilliant because i really like this show. British supernatural shows for me either suck big time or lose the plot come the second series.

Not gonna lie, Will young doesn't pull of playing a straight guy well at all. But with the revelation of his character in episode 3, i no longer feel that way.

Given this is Ryan's character decription I think Will is playing it just right.

Full Name: Ryan McAllister

Age: 25

Is He Single? Ryan’s not yet found the right person for him. And he's not sure if the right person would be a man or women. He’s not confused by his sexuality - he definitely knows he’s bisexual, though not openly. Ryan’s attracted to Kate, but knows she’s unattainable. He doesn’t see the obvious - that Molly would be perfect for him.

His Life: Ryan’s life has been scarred by the death of his older brother, James, who was murdered a year ago. He idolised James and always hoped he could emulate him.

Did You Know? Ryan and Kate lived in halls together at university.

Ryan Says: "Every single one of us has an atom that was once part of Albert Einstein. Which I suppose means we're all part genius. And part German."

Re the ratings. One of the writers tweeted this.

#Bedlam episode 2 got over 900,000 overall. Stonking figures - we're over the moon. Yay to good news on a Friday! Happy w'end y'all.

I didn't check out the description of the character actually, so i wasn't doubting Will's performance.

Every article of the show had him down as a straight character from what i read
